adellejefferiesxox Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 Just thought I'd start a new topic to chat about.... What are your thoughts on the "environment"? When in school primary/secondary were you a member of any environmental groups? How do you help the environment? What are some facts about the environemnt that you learnt as a child that have stuck with you through adolescent/adulthood? (Such as when I was a child, there was an ad telling kids to turn off the tap when you brushed your teeth otherwise the pond that was next to the bathroom outside the water in the pond would go down and the fish in that pond would eventually die, ever since that it kind of stuck that I need to make sure not to leave the tap running while I'm brushing my teeth). So basically what are your attitudes, vaules and beliefs about the "environment".
HighwayUnicorn Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 I was always taught in school, as well as by my parents, not to litter. & needless to say, I don't. & I hate watching people who do litter as well, especially when there is a bin nearby! Do these people have no respect? Can't they just hold onto an empty bag of sweets for a little while longer? If I don't come across a bin, I keep hold of my litter until I get home & then throw it in the bin.
