Serious News Is On It’s Way !!!! “ [ Screened in Australia on Thurs 25 Mar 2010 – Episode # 5039 ] PIER DINER Irene helps Annie rehearse for tee play – with Irene reading Romeo’s lines of course. Annie of course comment Romeo is a much better Juliet that Irene is. Irene wonders if Annie had made up her mind bout staying in bay or going back to Japan. Annie hasn't as yet, VAN PARK HOUSE Miles & Alf notice that Romeo is ignoring them – but when they do get through to him, he tells that he has lost in tee monet [of reading his lines for tee play]. Romeo tells that he has a VERY good day, but is worried about performing in front of audience morrow. When Alf comets he couldn't do it, Miles remarks there would be BIG crowds to tee play if Alf was all girled up as Juliet. PIER DINER Elijah arrives as Leah is closing up. Leah doesn’t come straight out and say that she knows Elijah like her, but she does say things like “if you want to tell me something”. Elijah looks concern kinda – but doesn’t truly respond top her query. NOAH'S Angelo sees Michael and wonders if they’ve met somewhere before. After countless suggestions by Angelo, he sees the fishing mag that Michael; has and suggest that they’ve encountered each other at the bait shop. They agree to have lunch together. LEAH'S HOUSE Leah & Charlie talk bout the diary that Charlie has. Charlie says it’s her journal – and the Michael told her to write down all her thoughts [about the ship] in the journal; - to kinda get a clear picture of what’s occurring and to purge various thoughts from her head. Talk turns to Elijah – and Leah admits she fell like a giddy schoolgirl when she is around him. MAIN BEACH NEXT DAY – Romeo talk to Annie after surf. When he comments she is hopeless at surfing, she says she thing about his acting. Romeo admits to Annie he is worried bout rehearsing in forint of an audience today. VAN PARK HOUSE Miles & Rabbit are playing chess. He suggests if he defeats her, the graffiti has to stop. Rabbit bails when Elijah arrives – but not before commenting about them gossiping like old women. Elijah tell Miles he thinks Leah knows his secret secret, but Miles admits he told Leah that Elijah has feelings for her. MAIN BEACH Annie can sense that Romeo is keen to delay going to school. He wonders if she is nervous bout the kiss in the play. Anne kisses Romeo – and then tells him she is soooo not nervous bout the kiss. PIER DINER Iren & Leah talk bout VJ and primarily Annie – how they are going up fast. Irene tells Leah that whilst she’s not ken on Annie going back to Japan, the Annie/Romeo scenario [if she stays] isn’t the best either. SUMMER BAY HIGH Romeo & miles are talking in the corridor. Romeo tells miles he is feelimng very good atm – and Annie walking by helps the cause. Romeo isn’t that ken when Mils tell him the cast will be photographed in costume. HOSPITAL In corridor, Charlie & Angelo are investigating an accident involving a crane. Several of the crane workers are injured nearby. Charlie is distracted – and only really pays attention when Angelo talks bout there being a cover up to do with the crane accident cover up – as she thought he might be talking bout her. NOAH'S Elijah talks to Alf bout how conflicted he is atm. Alf suggests Elijah should talk to a priest. HOSPITAL Charlie is intrigued when Angelo tells her he is going to be hanging out with Michael. Charley tell him she does not want to join in – as she isn’t onto boats/fishing. SUMMER BAY HIGH In the hall, Annie quite likes being dressed as Romeo – esp. the sword he has and she comets tat it was be cool to carry one round all the time. Romeo is in the dressing room – he tell Annie [on stage] to get Miles as he’s had a wardrobe malfunction. In corridor, Elijah is about to tell Miles his secret secret when Leah approaches. Elijah tells miles they will talk later. Annie approaches Miles - and tells him about Romeo’s sitch. They bail to go to the hall. MICHAEL'S HOUSE Charlie ask Michael various questions about himself incl if he’s seeing any other cops] but he tell her they are her to focus on Charlie. SUMMER BAY HIGH In classroom, Elijah is very distracted as he teaches his last set martial arts class. Leah is intrigued and kinda hurt when Elijah partners her at with the nearby Julia. In the hall, miles enter the dressing room. Romeo is dressed as Juliet – and miles laughing at him [briefly[ is the last straw. Romeo QUITS the play – despite miles best efforts to remind Romeo he is doing this for Annie. Annie overhears this - but it’s not enough. Romeo [in school uniform] bails. VAN PARK HOUSE NIGHT – Miles can’t believe it when Rabbit defeats him AGAIN at chess. Just before she bails, she tells miles “serious news is on its way”. Elijah enters momenys after rabbit bails. He wondrs what Miles knows bout Leah’s hubby Vinnie. After miles say he died in prison years ago, Elijah tell miles that ONLY WITHIN THE PAST YEAR did Vinnie DIE …. Elijah was the last man to see him alive.
