Snapp Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 I've been trying to remember how Marilyn first appeared in the show. Was she always meant to have lived in the Bay?
Ryan Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 She was someone Lance met in the city early-to-mid 1989, where she moved to Summer Bay to be with him during the year and became Morag's housekeeper.
ter06 Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 She didn't like the city, what with all the carbon peroxide in the air!
-Kevin- Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 She didn't like the city, what with all the carbon peroxide in the air! Ahh thats just something only Marilyn would say!!
Jeremai Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Not forgetting the ozone... it's in the seaweed or something!
Jeremai Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 There was definitely a story where Marilyn tried to find her estranged parents, although I can't remember the details and don't even know which year to start looking at to try and find it in the episode guides!
Ryan Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Yeah, Marilyn met her parents in Episode 803 (December 2012 - SevenTwo), played by Doug Scroop (who later played Beth's dad), and Lynn Rainbow.

Dan F Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 She also had an Auntie Jean who was there around the same time, played by Maggie Kirkpatrick - she's the one who told Maz her real parents were still alive - but I'm presuming she was her adoptive aunt with her name also being Chambers. I think she should come back again....Alf could note the fact that she's the spitting image of Viv and have a fling with her.....
