melvyn84 Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 (edited) As the father of a son who is Downs' syndrome it has been fascinating to watch the relationships between Gina, Brendan and Ruby (his friend). It is actually quite realistic to see the struggle of conscience a mother with a child who has a learning disability goes through , in deciding if she should relinquish her protective instincts and allow a measure of independence to that child. Also, Ruby's clarity of speech is amazing - there isn't a voice over or dubbing is there ? Mel Emmett Edited December 20, 2009 by QUIET ACHIEVER Quote
