Amanda, Harley and Nancy sat around a table talking

"I had no idea that happened to him, did he say anything?" Nancy said to Amanda

"I don't think it's someone he wants the world to know" Amanda replied

"And can we please change the subject" She added

"So when are you getting back together?" Harley asked

"What?" Amanda asked

"You two are still into each other and you know it" Harley said

"And Wolfie and I are sick of tredding on egg shells. It's like idon't know if i should talk to Jake and Wolfie doesn't know if he should say hey to you" Harley told her.

"He hates me?" Amanda Said

"But he still drools over you" Nancy said

A girl roughly around the age of 20 put her beg down on their table

"How old are you girls?" she asked

"14" Amanda said

"I'm 15" Nacy told the girl

"Good, appropriate age group" she said

"What?" Harley said and frowned

"I'm looking for my brother" she said

"His name might help" Amanda said

"Well see thats the thing, he could be going by a few different names" the girl told him

"Well what does he look like?" Nancy asked

"Well in the last photo i got of him was taken about a year ago. So in that photo he had brown messy hair ripped clothes but somehow made them look cool, blue eyes, friendship band made from a flanelet shirt like mine" she said life up her arm. "A chain bracelet to go with it, dog tags around his neck and black fingernail polish on". she said.

"Jake Barry" Amanda said

"I knew it" she said and smiled.

"Knew what?" Harley asked

"He doesn't hate me, or maybe he does he's just still using that name because his real one totally sucks" The girl said

"Who are you?" Amanda asked frowning at her

"Oh, i'm Tessa" the girl said

They stared blankly at her.

"His sister"

"Die fools die" Jake while shooting aliens an the game arcade.

"So what happening with you and Amanda?" Wolfie asked

"Nothing" Jake replied

"Harley said you're still into each other, and you still drool over her" Wolfie told him

"Well Harley knows nothing" Jake said

"I don't blame you for hating her" Marcus added his 2 cents worth in their conversation

"I don't hate Amanda, i'm mad at myself for thinking everything was ok" Jake told them both

His machine made a loud noise.

"I'm out of coins" he said at lent of one of the machine behind them

Wolfie and Marcus started to whistle.

Jake turned around to see Amanda, Nancy and Harley walking with Tessa.

"Tessa" Jake said

"What are doing here?" he asked

"Can't a girl see her little brother" she replied hugging him and kissing on the cheek.

"It's just that last time i saw you you told everything was gonna be ok, it swasn't" Jake said

"Yeah well last time i saw you you were giving me the middle finger salute and telling me to sit and spin" Tessa Replied

"You never said you had a sister" Marcus said

"I don't think they get along" Nancy whispered

"So have you seen mum?" Jake asked

"Yeah, because mum's like my favorite person" Tessa said.

"So you you said his real name isn't Jake. What s it?" Harley asked

"Answer that question and you'll be dead before dark" Jake said before Tessa could say anything

"That girl is looking at you with puppy dog eyes, what's wrong with her?" Tessa asked

"We dated, it ended badly" Jake told her

"What do you mean?"

"I got her pregnant" Jake said

"And then you left her?" Tessa asked

"No, i stuck by her" Jake replied

"So what did the baby die" Tessa said

Jake said nothing

"Oh god Jake did the baby really die" Tessa said and hugged him

"And after that she cheated on me" Jake finished

"She what" Tessa yelled and walked over to Amanda

She grabbed Amanda around the mouth.

"Mess with my brothers feelings again and you'll have me to deal with" Tessa said

"Whoa" Jake said standing in between them

"Just stop, you can't just walk back into my life and tell me how to run it" Jake tols Tessa

"I was just looking out for you" she replied

"You never looked out for me, you and Joel ran away and left me by myself, so don't start trying to look out for me now. I can lookk after myself, now go" Jake yelled

"Go" he said again as Tessa just stood there.

"Cheer up" Jake said putting his milkshake down on a table and sitting across from Amanda

"What?" Amanda asked

"Cheer up, you got company" Jake told her

"I thought you wouldn't talk to me again" Amanda said

"That's childish" Jake replied

"I want to say sorry for Tessa behavior. She had no right to act like that

"How come you never told me about what your dad did to you?" Amanda asked

"I don't wanna talk about that" Jake replied

"Sorry" Amanda replied

"We should hang out, as friends" Jake said standing up

"Just friend, does this mean you forgive mr?" Amanda asked

"Forgive? yes Forget? no" Jake replied sitting back down

"I'll hang out as friends on condition" Amanda told him

"Whats that?" he asked

"You tell me your real name" Amanda replied

Jake was silent for a while.

"Have you ever read the book The Outsiders?" Jake asked

"No, who wrote it?" she answered

"No idea, anyway we were named after characters in that" he told her

"And?" she asked

"Tessa's real name is Cherry, Joel's real name is Ponyboy and my real name is Sodapop" Jake told her

Amanda frowned

"Seriously?" she asked

"Seriously" he replied

She still frowned

"It's mums favorite book" Jake told

"What's with the name Jake?" she replied

"I renamed myself when i was nine seeing everyone else at school had proper names. I wanted to fit in" Jake told her

"She didn't have to kick me out of class and give me a detention" Jake said slamming his locker.

"She's got a thing for you" Wolfie said leaning against the locker beside him

"Eeeww, she can get over it, teacher student relationships aren't aloud. Not that i would go there, Ms Black is a hag" Jake said

"If i get one more detention my ass is gonna get expelled" Jake told Wolfie.

Wolfie laughed

"Bitch" Jake yelled as he walked around the coner

"What, i thought we were friends" Amanda said looking shocked.

"Not everything is about you" Jake said and kept walking

And what were you saying about getting back with him" Nancy asked

"It's gonna happen" Amanda replied

"When?" Nany asked

"Hopefully sooner rather than later" Amanda said

"If you ask me i think it's gonna be later rather than sooner" Nancy added

"That doesn't help" Amanda said

"If i was you, i'd make my move soon" Nancy told her

"Why?" Amanda asked

"Because Gabriella Dekker's making her move" Nancy told her

"That bitch, she doesn't waste anytime, well if she wants a war she got one" Amanda said

"Something about Tessa is a old friend of her sisters or something so she's told her Jake's interested. Thats what i heard anyway" Nancy said

Jake woke to hear a knock on his bedroom window. He got up rubbing his eyes, turning on his lava lamp and walked over to his window. He saw Amanda outside. He opened it.

"Amanda, what are you d..., what happened to yor nose?" he asked

"Are you gonna let me in? I broke a finger nail climbing up here" Amanda said ignoring the question.

Jake to let her in

"You didn't answer my question" he said

"Your girlfriend kicked the crap out of me" she told him

"What, i don't have a girlfriend" Jake replied

"Gabriella Dekker" Amanda said

"Ga..., you're jealous" he said

"Not that you're see..." Amanda started to say

Jake sighed

"Write it down" he said

"Sit down" He told her

"When i tell you to, i want you to sniff" Jake said

"Ow" she screamed feeling her nose go back into joint.

"You didn't sniff" Jake growled at her.

"You didn't say sniff" Amanda said feeling tears running down her cheeks

"I can't help it if you didn't hear me because you crying like a baby" Jake yelled

"It hurt" she yelled back

"It usually does" he said lowering his voice

He smiled

"What's funny?" Amanda asked

"Nothing" he said

"I'll be right back" he told her and walked out of the room.

She saw a family photo in which Jake was young very young in. She noticed his dad and Tessa's faces were cut our.

"Alright" he said

"What are you doing?" she asked

"Don't move" he said and sat her back down

"Ahhh" she said as he put a small band aid on her nose.

"I'm not a doctor, so that'll have to do" he said

"Why'd you cut Tessa out of your photo" she asked

"You went through my things, it's ok, i'll forgive you this time" he replied not answering the question

"What are you staring at?" he asked

"You're beautiful" she said

"How hard did she kick you" he joked
