Oh my I forgot all about this untill you said. I can't remember how they cleared that story up now. I haven't thought much of this season. Well I'd hate to have your expectations. They turned the main character into a vampire after spending 3 years trying to keep her alive. It's huge. Probably the biggest finale in the US this year so far. Next Year will be huge storyline wise. I'm dying to see where they are going with this. But the finale sounds awesome with Elena becoming a vampire because this happned much earlier on in the books. I think. Yes it's been renewed for a season 4.
