Under normal circumstances i'd go for a hyphen which is what i'll do if i ever get married,but given the circumstanes i'd go for Jefferies.As RR1 said,what's the point otherwise.

I'd prefer Jefferies. It sounds better and like others have said, keeping it Taylor would make it seem like they never got married.

I agree I think Belle would want to keep her last name because she is a very independant person but she wouldn't want to rid off the notion of having a her husband's last name But as Lyd said under the current circustances Belle would probably want to just be Belle Jefferies, either way I am happy

Belle's surname is a big part of her identity - she was called Taylor by Drew for nearly two years. She's one of those characters who even the most casual of viewers knows her surname. How many people really know Jai's surname, for example?

However, I reckon she will go with Jefferies. It would fit her history to change her name. She was originally baby Vale before being adopted and named Susan Taylor, a name which she rebelled against, which is how she came to be called Belle instead.

On a separate note if Leah ever re-marries, she better not take her husband's name, otherwise she'll be Leah Poulos-Patterson-Baker-(insert surname here). Amanda being Amanda Vale-Baker-Walters-Baker was bad enough.

I think Jefferies.If she's so desperate to marry Aden before she dies, it'd be quite mad for her not to take his name because if she doesn't nothing would change.

Sorry, I probably didn't phrase that very well.But think about it, they're already living together, it's not as if the marriage is going to last very long...I think it would be very strange if she goes ahead with this wedding purely so she can say "We were married" and then just goes around calling herself Belle Taylor as if it never happened.

I still don't follow why does she need to change her name to add value to her marriage, is it not enough for her to say "this is my husband".

Maybe I'm just being a bit stuffy and old-fashioned but I think that sharing a surname is a way of saying "We're a family."If they were actually going to have a marriage, or rather one that lasted more than a few weeks, then keeping her name would be acceptable.But given that this wedding is largely symbolic, her way of saying "We might not have been together long but we loved each other and I want everyone to remember that", I think taking his name would be necessary to complete that symbolism.(Alternately, if she does go for a hyphen, maybe he could too so he keeps her name after she's gone?)

I went for Taylor - Jefferies. As I've said elsewhere on here I think Belle is the type of independent character who would still want to keep her own name as well as her husbands. But I LOVE the idea of Aden changing to Taylor - Jefferies too RR1!

I don't like Belle because she is so annoying and i am glad the she don't marred Aden because he and Belle won't make a great couple and when she dies there won't be any more Belle in the bay. hahaha
