Is Jai a pointless character?

It's a shame that he's never given much in terms of screen-time. That's a problem with this show - and most shows to be fair...they give loads of screen-time to certain characters at the expense of other characters. Now that Belles going, perhaps this will open up more screen time opportunities to characters like Jai.

I think he is not good in home and away because he is not good for Annie because those teen should be out of Home and away.

Jai could be a great character, if he was given a decent storyline. As Devon said that maybe change due to the depature of a certain character, maybe now others will get the chance for a storyline.

I can't say that Jai was ever a favourite of mine or that I was ever really interested in his character but I find him to be likeable enough. Although for most part I think if he were to be offscreen for a very long time I probably wouldn't even notice.

I never liked Jai as a character & to me, yes, he was pointless.

I think that he was pointless in some respects and not pointless in others. If they had utilised him more, given him a couple of good storylines and spent more time on-screen with the core teen group and with the adults on the show then maybe the outcome would have been different.
