AJ Burger Posted May 11, 2009 Report Posted May 11, 2009 Hi everyone, I hope there are some IT experts that can help me? I got an invite from a friend to register at Diwana and was very excited! I went to their website and tried to register but I get the following error message: "An error has occured! Proxy server detected. We don't allow registration via proxies" Does anyone know how to fix this so that I can register? I tried to email the support team at Diwana but nobody replied! I appreciate any help I can get

I know but how can I connect without a proxy server? From what I know proxies are mainly a middleman that helps you to connect via the net to websites and it protects your identity? We use a Vodafone Mobile 3G wireless connection here in South Africa with the Huawei USB modem. Do you know where or how I can see the proxy server to possibly configure it when I connect to Diwana?

You can't sign up behind a proxy because Diwana doesn't allow you so you should sign up at a friend who doesn't use proxy. Afterwards you can login with Proxy and check Diwana's help guide from there. You probably will need a new invite if it's not activated in 24 hours. PM if you need one, i have 3 left.

Thanks I will let you know about the invite? First I must try and locate a friend that doesn't use proxies I suppose it would be unethical to let someone else sign me up
