A police diver talks to Charlie, before she talks to Miles. She tells her tat it certainly looks like its been lifeless for several week. Charlie well & truly “suggest” to Miles to keep any thoughts of a shark attack to himself. Miles approaches VJ – who is still looking a tad stunned. / MARTHA'S FARM Hugo is helping Martha with some farm work. As they talk, Hugo tells Martha hat he’s seriously thinking of doing night dives again – as if he doesn’t get a decent amount of customers soon, the business will go under. PIER DINER VJ & Miles are in the kitchen with Leah. After VJ gets a milkshake, he goes into the main area. Miles quietly talk to Leah bout what’s happened, incl the fact that VHJ was chatty with him until they arrived here at the diner. Btw, all the while, Colleen occasionally enters and exits the kitchen SURF CLUB Nicole sees Trey's dad giving Tray a hard time – gioiving him lots of chores and insists that it will be ages before Trey earns his trust. Indeed, after Nicole starts talking to Trey, he suggests that they should swap dads for a while – but Nicole suggests that Roman is “no picnic” at the moment either. VAN PARK HOUSE Alf & Hugo are atlimg bout the new radio that Hugo has got for his boat. When Hugo mentions that night dives, Alf is worried. Alf hopes that Hugo can stay in the bay – as Hugo’s presence has done wonders for Martha. Hugo bails And Mile enters. He tells Alf bout the hand. SURF CLUB Trey's dad answers his phone – it’s clearly Alf telling him bout the hand. POLICE STATION Charlie is talking to Avery, a new? male officer at the station when Miles, Alf & Trey's dad enter. Trey's dad is esp. concern bout how this could affect tat winter surf carnival that SB is staging. Charlie insists that the police are doing all they can to investigate. Soon after, Avery answered the phone – it’s a journo wati8ng a statement for the police bout a supposed shark attack. Charlie tells Avery to tell the journo that she’s at lunch. Charlie bails. NOAH'S Trey's dad talk to Mile & Alf – he suggest that they have to organise a meeting to get some damage control happening bout this shark stoey. .Jerry, form the Coastal News, is nearby and wonders what’s going on. Alf & the others are able to put him of the trail – for now. RACHEL'S PLACE Martha tell Hugo that she decide to have lunch her, rather than the farm, as it will be a little while before there’s any vegetables grown on the farm. Hugo tells her tat he is about to bail – and she rponds by saying the he will be missing out of B.O.F. [whatever she finds at the bottom of the fridge] sandwiches. PIER DINER Leah talk to Charlie bot hat’s happing – and it doesn't help when Colleen chimes in with something that Madge Wilkins told her to someone she knows saw shark attack happen. After Charlie walks way, Leah answers the phone. When off, she tells Colleen to hold that fort – as VJ has been asking for Leah at school. RACHEL'S PLACE The phone rings and Hugo is about to get it when Martha [in her underwear and a towel on his head, having just been in shower] enter the main room. Hugo tells her that he hared phone so he was going to get it before he bailed. Hugo bails 0 and Martha answer the phone. Its Alf – and he tell her bout the possible shark attack... She goes to the front door to looks outside to see if Hugo hasn’t gone yet – but when she rtns to the phon, she tells Alf that Hugo has bailed. MAIN BEACH Avery talks to Charlie bout the hand - and that it’s looking more likely that it’s a shark attack. Alf, Mile & Trey’s dad approaches – as sdoe Jerry form the paper. Jerry & try’s dad get into a verbal fight – and Charlie suggest tat if they don't stop it she will lock them up/ she aloe tells Jerry & the other tat the police investigations into the hand found on tee beach are ongoing. PIER DINER Nicole & Trey compare how their life is very simpler right now – both living with ex Military fathers who [from the way they are behaving] must think that their households etc should be run with military precision. Trey’s dad enters – and has a go at him for not helping him [like they agreed to] at lunch. POLICE STATION Miles approaches Charlie - whose just about had enough of everyone at the moment [note – lots of me, and I can imagine lots of Charlie, wish that Joey was still around at times like this]. Miles tells he tat he is only hear to cheer her up – indeed, he has bought her a chocolate muffin. Charlie, in her office, tells Mils that it IS a shark attack they are dealing with 0 and that she got stressed earlier when Trey’s dad aetc were going off like that. After Nile bails, Charlie answers the phone – sound like thus shark attack case is being taken over by a higher authority. SURF CLUB Miles & Alf are talking when Trey’s dad approaches - he tells them tat he has quelled all the rumours bout the shark attack. He naturally doesn’t like it when Mile tells him tat is a rally was a shark attack. RACHEL'S PLACE Martha is on the front patio when Alf approaches. They are worried bout Hugo – who isn’t answering his phone or the new radio that he got for the boat. Martha is esp. Worried as Hugo won’t be back for a few days – he‘s s out at sea saerching for new dive spots btw. NOAH'S Trey's dad talk to Miles – he is worried bout the money they will loose if the winter carnival is moved for the bay, but Miles ins its tat they have to be all safety 1st. SURF CLUB Nic approaches trey – who tells her that he’s grounded until forever. Nic suggest tat she could come over to his house – and distract his dad so trey could bail for the house for a bit. Trey then apologises for “hitting on” Nic a few weeks ago. POLICE STATION Charlie is talking to Avery – she tells his that things are out of their hands now. Charlie wonders why Avery is looking so surprised – but she knows whey when she turns around. Angelo has just arrived. She wonders why he is here – and Angelo tells her tat he is with Marine Area Command and is leading the invetagtiuion into the shark attack.
