JosieTash Posted February 27, 2009 Report Share Posted February 27, 2009 My UNOFFICIAL title for this ep, “ I’ll Try Not To Flirt With Too Many Randoms On The Way “ [screened in Australia on Thurs, 26 Feb 09 – Episode # 4799] HUNTER HOUSE Its lat at night and Rachel awakes. She is a tad surprised that Tony is NOT by her side. VAN PARK HOUSE Melody & her mum are about to go to the hospital when Christine’s hope rings. When she gets of the phone, she tells Melody, Alf & Miles that Melody’s gran has had another stroke – and has died. Melody & Christine hug. LEAH'S HOUSE Theo tells Leah. Helen & Chris tat he thought if he got way to Cyprus hew would have space etc to think bout things but Helen this tat it is just ruining away. Theo & Helen agree with Leah & Chris’ suggestions to sleep on this AND for Theo to put his ticket on hold for the moment. HUNTER HOUSE Rachel is in the longue when Tony arrives. Tony says that he needed some air – and Rachel notes that he’s been dirking. Tony tells Rachel that Lucas rang – and Tony had to pass on the news of Jack’s death. Tony ads that Lucas won’t be heading home [and is stying in India with his g/f].Ra is keen to talk bout this, but Tony tells Rachel that he’s kept her up late enough. Tony heads for the bedroom. SUMMER BAY HIGH Next day, as Nicole and Trey parker [a relatively new SBH student] talk about whets’ about to happen, ist clear that Geoff isn’t so keen on Nicole being this friendly with the new boy. When Geoff comments bout the other guy flirting Nicole, Nicole tells Geoff that he was no need to worry, as Trey is an idiot. Nicole & Geoff enter a room full of students & parents, and when Geoff comments bout his idea for the school to have a chill out room, jai comment that it sounds like a similar idea to what the Den was. In the corridor, Leah is pleased to see that both her parents and her brother are here, and they insist that they wouldn’t have missed this for anything. Those 4 & Martin go into the room where the like of Nicole, Annie, Jai etc are. Martin tells the ppl that they are all here to remember Dan – and that there will be several presentations. The best of which will receive funding for tewh Dan Baker Memorial Trust. HUNTER HOUSE Rachel & Tony are in the kitshen. Rachel suggests tat they should go to a sale of baby stuff today at yabby creek, but Tony insult that keen. Rachel isn’t happy that Tony isn’t telling her what he’s feeling – and when she puts tat question to him directly, Tony tells her tat he feels DEAD inside. Tony walks away, and Rea is clearly anguished by what’s heaping. SUMMER BAY HIGH Geoff gives his presentation about his “chill out room” idea, and then its Trey’s turn. He tells the crowd that although he didn’t get to meet Dan, from what he's heard about him, an annual trek [like the Kadoka Track, but not actually the Kokoda track] would be a god way of remembering Dan – as its will draw ppl together and the greater the challenge, the great the triumph etc. Leah & Martin thank everyone for there presentations – and now they will have a break, and when everyone comes back into the room, the announcement of the winder will be made. VAN PARK HOUSE Melody tells Miles & Annie that there is no way that she will be missing the funeral of her gran – even with it being in New Zealand. After Miles walks way, Ann & Melody talk about the possibility of Melody staying in NZ with her mum after the funeral. Melody insist tat she doesn't rally trust herself round her mum, and that Miles has done sooooooo mush for her, but Annie puts it to Melody that this could be that last chance that Melody & Christine could have a developing a true understanding etc of each other. HUNTER HOUSE Rachel is showing Martha some of the baby clothes tahr she got today when Tony comes home. After Rachel comment tat she is working tonight, Tony mentions tat he will be too. Tony then gets a text message – and when Martha & Rachel wonder, he tells them that it was form alf, who wants to meet up later. Martha comments bout how she’s been trying to get Alf to get into texting for ages. SUMMER BAY HIGH Leah & Martin re enters tyeh room where all the ppl [Helen, Annie etc] are and tell them the there were 2 presentations that they just couldn’t split, so it will be up to the assembled crowd to vote. Many ppl raise there hands in spt of Geoff’s idea, but just as many vote for Trey’s. Martin notes that Nicole hasn't voted yet – and she votes for TREY’s idea. VAN PARK HOUSE There’s a bit of mutual admiration society going to tween Christine 7 Miles – with both thanking the other for how there’ve helped shape Melody, i.e. Miles tell Christine that she raised Melody well, whilst Christine tells Miles that she realises that she soooooo misjudged him when they 1st encountered each other.. Miles hands Melody the eTickets for the flight to NZ, and Melody tells him that she won’t need a return flight – as she is going to live in NZ with Christine!!! BEACH HOUSE As Nic & Geoff enter, Geoff is concerned that Nic voted for the other guy today. Nic insists tat she liked Trey’s idea better. Geoff isn’t so sure that this is just about the presentations, but Nic tells him tat she didn’t vote for Trey as a way to flirt etc with him. Annie approaches Nic & Geoff. She tells them the Melody is leaving the Bay. HUNTER HOUSE Before they both had out, Rachel or Tony comment bout6 him having drinks with Alf tonight. After Tony bails, Rachel notices tat he has left his mobile behind. She calls up to him - to no avail. Rachel pus tat mobile in her bag. LEAH'S HOUSE Leah is VERY pleased when her parens tell her tat they are going to try to work things out. They aren’t making any promises, but they will try. VAN PARK HOUSE Jai, Annie, Alf, Miles, Nic and Geoff say their goodbye to Melody – whose mum is nearby. As Melody & Geoff hug, she comments to Nic to take good care of Geoff. Nic bail to the back patio – and Geoff goes after her. He wonders what’s going on, and she tells that she doesn't like the way tat he is trying to change her [into being less flirty - like Melody]. Before she bails, Nic tells Geoff tat she’ll try not to flirt6 with too many ppl on the way home. NOAH'S Rachel enters and talks to Alf. She wonders where Tony is – and Alf sys tat he had things to do. Rachel comments to alf that he can give Tony his mobile [currently in Rach’s hand] back when they meet up later. Alf tells her tat he doesn’t have plans to do so – and he almost can’t believe it when Rach says tat tony said tat Alf sent him a text msg earlier. When Alf walks away, Rachel looks at Tony’s mobile – and sees that he’s had several messages from someone called Belinda!!
