It's been a long time coming, but I'm now pleased to announce the launch of this year's Scriptwriting Competition! You will find all the info you need on the main site

If you have any questions, either post them in here or contact Eduardo Bearo, Skykat or myself :)

Hi all, I am a brand new member to this site and have to say I am very excited about the scriptwriting competition. Good luck to you all!

Just to answer a couple of questions we have already received.

You may use past characters if you wish, however your scene should be set in present times and adhere to the established continuity of the show, as any writer would have to do.

That is an excellent way to honour Frankie, and the competition topic looks like a very interesting one as well. It should produce a lot of exciting entries.

I've never done anything like this before, but I got a flash of inspiration the other night for a scene. Only THEN I read the topic, and was...How, the hell am I going to start my scene with THAT line!:lol:

Anyway, I worked it in (eventually!). Has anyone else entered yet??

Also, how does the feedback work? Do you get it directly to your email or posted here somewhere?

You will get it via e mail. It usually more than a couple of lines and is very helpful, positive and constructive.
