Guest Posted December 31, 2008 Report Share Posted December 31, 2008 Chapter 3 6 years later Isabella had been thinking about why she never had a dad. “Mum why don’t I have a dad?” Bella asked The question shocked Belle. “Well Bella you did have a did but a few days before you were born he ran off and got hit by a car” Belle answered “Who was the lady who helped you look after me?” Bella asked “That was my foster mum Irene” Belle responded “I really liked her” Bella told Belle “I know” Belle answered “Mum can we go to dad’s grave?” Isabella asked “Sure” Belle answered The pair got into the car and Belle drove away from the house she and Isabella had been living in since Bella was four. Belle had moved out of Irene’s when Isabella was four. Belle pulled up to the grave yard where she had buried Aden. Isabella looked around and she saw the grave stone that said Aden Jeffries and walked up to it. Belle and Isabella put flowers at the grave and they both had a bit of a cry. Then Belle took Isabella’s hand and they walked back to the car and drove back to their house. “Mum what was my dad like?” Isabella asked “He was just like you quiet and very happy almost all the time” Belle responded “Did I look like him when I was a baby?” Isabella asked “You sure did” Belle responded The pair drove in silence.
