It lasted from January 2006 until last July, when I decided to start at university. I enjoyed the work, although I often had problems with time management, and the free rentals were a definite bonus. SAB Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 big W nightfill. Many of the people are nice and friendly, but like everywhere else, you have the obligitary douchebag. Only thing I hate about the job is the customers, and that the boss can't seem to properly explain what to do, so I have to ask him like 3 times what needs to be done to iron out his instructions. It was a totally crappy job but the people I worked with almost made it worthwhile. The bosses were terrible and the customers were always cranky when I worked in shops and cafes and crap. GET A REAL JOB PEOPLE! Don't waste two years like I did. rachel&kim Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 I worked in a shop, it was awful because the managers hated us all but there were tons of other temps my age so we did manage to have a good time when possible. And I did meet Rowan Atkinson and Claudia Schiffer which was cool. But yeah, pretty much the only reason I'm sticking it out with uni is so I don't have to work in a shop again, hopefully.
