-Kevin- Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 I thought him to be a sorry for saying this (pratt) in the biggest sot of way it was alright for him he and Timmy Mallett had there belly full before they went into the jungle the others who have been in there for 6 days have gone hungry cold been in the torrenchional rain who the hell dose he think he is, Kilroy won thoes meals for ten people not twelve. I totally agree with you Janice about the food situation and not giving up a ransom for Mallett and Davy but I completely disagree how the 2 newcomers were treated when it came to the sleeping arrangements in the camp. Who says that just because they came a little later than the others they should be outcast by everyone by thinking that the newcomers have to sleep in the cave. Davy was right when he said that they dont have the "God given right to a bed in the camp" because they dont have whatsoever. Nicola thinks she owns the place. It was when Davy asked her did she buy the bed !!
Mrs Bishop Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 I really didnt like it when Timmy Mallett was laughing at Kilroy was doing the live bushtucker trial I wonder if he would have the trial with some one cackling in the back ground, it seemed to put Robert off a little bit,I dont think they relised he was winning food for them.
Laura Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 The song they were singing which is too rude to repeat was hilarious,Joe is just comedy gold. Hes not really much different from his Eastenders character though. Yeah, I was thinking that. He really is just like Mickey. He's so funny Also I've always wondered does this show air in Australia as well?? Good question. I wonder if it does as it's filmed there. I highly doubt it though.
claire-b Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 Ok ive changed my mind about Kilroy hes not so bad. He did really well at the trials & I dont blame him for being p****d off with Timmy I would have been. Yeah it was funny to watch but his laughing seemed really false & over exaggerated I dont get why he would do that. Is there history between them two or have they just taken an instant dislike to each other? Looking forward to tonight's show & seeing how David will cope with the trial. Not liking him at the minute but will reserve judgement till after the trial.
Laura Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 I only caught five minutes of it last night, so can someone please tell who the two new people are?
Mrs Bishop Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 The two new contestancets are Davy Van Day dont know what he dose and dont care, and Timmy Mallett who was a childrens entertainer in the depths of television land many moons ago.
Lesley Bee Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 David Van Day was actually one half of 80's band Dollar. The thing is i can actually remember them from when i was little and i think i even liked one of their songs
Slade Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 In regards to Thursday’s episode I thought that like Timmy, David should have offered to go and sleep in the cave without kicking up such a fuss about. That’s what I would have done. By doing that it would have been perceived as some sort of gesture. And the fact remains that the original group of people had been on the island for a few days and those two had only been there for a single night. However in saying that I did not like the attitude of certain members in the camp. In particular Nicola and Simon. I could understand them not wanting to give up food but makeup? Also, when he asked her about it she just couldn’t give a monkeys. I thought Simon was overly aggressive and it wasn’t necessary, although I can understand that was because of the situation they were in and under normal circumstances he probably would have been a lot calmer. I actually quite like Kilroy in this show. I didn’t think I would to start off with but was pleased he was there because I thought he would stir things up. After watching him in that trial, I think he’s ok. And Timmy was annoying me - Kilroy was struggling with the trials and he kept making that irritating laugh. I thought that was disrespectful.
Mrs Bishop Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 When I was watching the bushtucker trial last night with Timmy Mallett I was hoping one of the cockroaches would go in his mouth,(I know I,m sardistic )but that wiuld have made me laugh.
