Bad_Witch Posted March 16, 2009 Report Share Posted March 16, 2009 Todays episode was good as it realy showed the great character and person Rachel is, loved how she was disappointed in Tony about the whole boat thing and then he quickly realised his mistake. Just makes you think what a lovely person Rachel really is, she is always there to help people out and make them realise their faults, this must be because her niceness rubs off on others. Shame martha runined them by not covering them properly.. silly girl Rachel couldnt believe it im so glad she said yes and the pacience and Raches workmates standing there was so cute too. They deserved that at least!! Although it sounds so cheesy what he had planned, i don't know any girl who wouldn't have loved it! But Tony is a total sweetheart and he really excelled himself!! 115 roses for the number of days they were supposed to have been married for....you don't get much more romantic than that!! Bless his cotton socks. I did love his little speech in the hospital and taking a rose from than old lady And Rachel's reaction was lovely. She looked a little stunned at first then her smile just got wider and wider. The hug was very nice as welll!! Although i'm disappointed we didn't get a kiss! Maybe because so many people were watching I do wonder if he still did the whole dinner thing as well, seeing as the only reason he gave for going to the hospital was that he couldn't wait, not that she was held up and going to miss out. I wonder if the hospital is their new gym in terms of scenes together! God forbid we should ever see them in their house! And definately thought there was a kiss missing after all that. I loved how he got all dressed up to go see her , his shirt was cool his little speech was lovely and it just shows how much Tachel love each other. I liked Rachel in the scrubs was unusual they would put her in them but aah well i thought they were great.Random how like 2 people were there at the hospital and then a dozen arrived for the proposal out of no where! Tony asking the old lady for a rose was hilarious ... "excuse me could i ask you a favour?" Rachel is already around 5 months pregnant. And we're not supposed to notice these things Still, it was an incredibly romantic gesture and i hope she found out about all of it when they got home that night! charmed60 Posted March 19, 2009 Report Share Posted March 19, 2009 Awww, it's so lovely to see Tony so happy and "normal" again and going back to his hopelessly romantic and gentlemanly nature He is an absolute sweetheart and he put so much thought into everything tonight, the whole 115 roses for every day since they were last meant to be married was such a beautiful thought. I have to say I'm quite sad we didn't get to see his little surprise set up at home with the lights and music because it sounded gorgeous! The words he said to Rachel as well were just so lovely and I liked how he involved everyone in the surprise (I also thought it was hilarious how he chose a place that had roses for a third off lol! Typical man Joking) I also liked the bit where Rachel came in and they had to get rid of her (her face when Martha suggested buying her lunch was funny ) and then push Tony back into the gym. I'm so happy to see Tony happy again. It's also nice for Tachel to be part of the comedy in the episode and not the angst for once! I was so pleased to see Miles involved today, I was hoping him and Tony would be able to form a friendship out of it but it seems it was more about Martha/Miles. I have to agree with you rachel&kim though in the aus discussion about the lack of a kiss, was very disappointed and I think it was missing. Just because Tachel are an older couple writers doesn't mean they can't kiss, they couldn't keep their hands off each other at the last proposal! I felt really bad for Tony because it seems every beautiful idea he has which costs him money gets destroyed, the first wedding, Jack's boat and now those roses. It was such a lovely thought and they all got blown away I was hoping for a kiss and I was hoping for a scene with them together after the proposal but hey, the comedy of the episode was funny, seeing Tony happy was lovely, and the proposal was so beautiful I feel bad for complaining I think this is a new start for Tony & Rachel.
