Jen Posted May 30, 2008 Report Share Posted May 30, 2008 Kate Richie's real footy hunk revealed Rumours of romance between Gold Logie winner Kate Richie's and an NRL hunk have been dispelled — because a series of steamy photos prove she's actually involved with a different footy star. Richie, 29, was reported by the Daily Telegraph last week to be involved with Parramatta Eels star Eric Grothe Jnr. However, a series of cosy shots set to run in next week's New Idea prove the former Home & Away star is actually romancing St George-Illawarra Dragons heartthrob Stuart Webb. In the series of intimate snaps, the pair cuddle up on a boat party on Sydney Harbour. Socialising with fellow NRL players, including new Bulldogs recruit Nick Youngquest and former Panther Brett Firman, Richie is pictured enjoying a beer and leans over to passionately kiss Webb, 27. Several other women are at the harbour party, with a bottle of champagne and several empty alcopops littering the table. Richie reportedly ended her year-long romance with professional skateboarder Corbin Harris just two weeks before her Logies triumph, after previously dating Gold Coast Titans player Chris Walker for several years. Interestingly, new flame Webb was a teammate of Walker at the Roosters from 2003 to 2005. Football journeyman Webb, who has also played with the Rabbitohs, caught the eye of his female fans by posing nude in two risque football calendars to raise money for charity. Yes, but the camera never lies...although pictures of them kissing doesn't make them the next Romeo and Juliet. It might have just been a drunken snog! Six weeks after splitting from professional skateboarder boyfriend Corbin Harris, the radio and television personality has been seeing rugby league player Stuart Webb, 27. "Kate's getting on with her life like any other single, 29-year-old woman - balancing her busy work schedule with spending time with family and friends,'' Ritchie's spokeswoman said. The St George Illawarra player and the two-time Gold Logie winner have been spending time together, although it's early days. Ritchie has also been linked with Parramatta star Eric Grothe Jr, with the pair recently spotted outside the popular Kings Cross bar The Sapphire Lounge. She had been dating Harris, four years her junior, for the past year and had previously dated Gold Coast Titans player Chris Walker for several years. News of the split emerged after Ritchie attended the Logie Awards ceremony last month without Harris by her side.
