"I know Geoff, but you know what?" Matilda sat up a little straighter as a quirky grin slid onto her lips. "Someone once told me that people will say what they want to say... and none of it matters. Just ignore them and continue on..." Matilda grinned as a real smile crawled onto Geoff's lips and his eyes creased with the genuine smile. "And I'd have to say that person was pretty smart...and, I think that person deserves a kiss," Geoff grinned, and Matilda couldn't help but smile as well. The Geoff that Matilda had wanted to know was starting to shine back through. Shrugging, Matilda grinned devilishly and leaned forward, smacking her lips to Geoff's for a second before quickly pulling her mouth away from his.
