Drew Posted May 27, 2010 Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 It was mentioned somewhere at the end of the episode before the finale episode, when some of the characters met up after Ana dropped, Sayid, Kate, Desmond off that Ana wasn't following them because "she wasn't ready", so with that, I think she still had things to sort out and wasn't ready to move on. I was disapointed with the ending at first, but then, after understanding what it was all about, I actually don't mind it. The 2007 story was a great conclusion, and the sideway's was a good twist and a touching ending. It was good how the focus on the 2007 story was all about the island, and the sideways was about the characters. It gave nice fitting endings to both stories.
