Thank you for your recent enquiry. We are planning to broadcast a twenty second version of the Neighbours closing credits. This was the length that the producers of the series wanted us to transmit. James Martin Posted January 30, 2008 Report Share Posted January 30, 2008 Incase anyone missed it in the H&A forum, the knock-on effects for Home & Away are quite significant. The lunchtime showing of H&A moves from noon to 2:15pm, straight after Neighbours; but, like Five will be doing (and the BBC have done) with Neighbours, H&A's first showing will be the 2:15, with the 6:00pm being a repeat of that. Essentially, it's a return to how the show was transmitted on ITV. Five Life's first-look Neighbours will immediately follow that of H&A's at 7pm. For the TV anoraks amongst us, it's very interesting to compare the promotions for the "channel-changes" of both shows, H&A's being back in the Channel 5 "American sports and porn" era but Neighbours' being in the "more refined" Five era!
