Quick Questions

Recommended Posts

The writers at that time didn't seem all that interested in making the twentysomething characters¬†interesting. Off the top of my head, I can think of Nick, Lou, Luke, Donna, Roxy and Rob. I'm sure there are others. Apart from Lou who was a bit of a hothead, they're all "everymen". The sort of people you'd love to have as a friend but don't set the world on fire when they're on a soap. Maybe after that tedious, never-ending Nick/Ryan/Lou love triangle, they decided to leave Nick on his own. It's a waste really - looking back at those episodes now that I'm older, I fancy the pants off Bruce Roberts ūüėȬ†

At least characters in there 20s in recent years had personality.

Problem with early years it was so obvious when character was underused like Nick/Matt/McPhee’s /Roxy.

Normal at  least in current show characters are in background when they are long term and therefore you can understand why they won’t get storyline’s every minute or if character be around for few years and is on there way out.

Nick did almost nothing in his final year apart from suck up to Donald incessantly and shake his head disapprovingly at Shane.

Or at the very least call him a "pea-brain". (Which was apt sometimes) ūü§£

He just became a little mini replica of Donald, always on Shane's back, hanging around that kicthen set like a bad smell. It was like, get a life of your own Nick. You're a 20-something guy. I am not surprised they wrote him out in the end as they had clearly lost all interest in him. Shame as he was a decent enough character at the start.

In Episode 2295, a group of female singers perform at Rebecca and Travis's wedding.  The band seems to be called Crisp which I've never heard of before.  Does anyone know what the song is please?

ETA:  I've found the track now - How to Breathe

Locations question:

In the 1991-92 cliffhanger episodes, Adam and Blake asked Josh to drive them to a place called "Rocky Point", a location they said was "100km up the coast" and would take 3 hours (2 hours with Josh's drivingūüėõ).

The credits at the end of Episode 910 thank the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service for their assistance in the production of that episodes.

What is the actual location these scenes were filmed at?
