Home and Away overseas

SUMMER Bay is still where it was on the soap map, but its stars left home and went away to London and New York this week.

After canoodling in Croatia with her mega-millionaire boss Ryan Stokes last week, Jodi Gordon joined her Home & Away castmates Kate Ritchie and Mark Furze in London for a promotional visit for the popular export show.

On a two-week production break, the trio hit hot nosh spot The Ivy, after earlier doing the interview rounds of Channel 5, which airs the TV drama in the UK.

Across the Atlantic, co-star Sharni Vinson was snapped walking the red carpet in Hollywood, on the arm of CSI:NY star, A.J.Buckley.

Vinson joined the Dublin-born actor at a celebrity restaurant and nighclub opening, adding to speculation the pair are dating.

Vinson also sparked buzz last week that she could be set to make a permanent move from the Channel 7 show, after spending her hiatus in a busy round of meet and greets with industry executives in Los Angeles.

The actor and trained dancer, who plays Cassie Turner on the soap, also signed an endorsement deal with Ed Hardy boss Christian Audigier while she was there.

She will be a brand ambassador for the celebrity label, which opened stores in Australia this year.

Vinson jetted out of California bound for Las Vegas on Sunday where she planned to celebrate her 24th birthday in style.

The cast are all due back to work this Monday, when cameras will roll.
