I voted for Jackie woodburne (Susan kennedy) for the silver and gold logie award.

I did too-I wrote a letter to Jackie telling her that I thought she was great and I recieved a signed photo from her back which I have near my computer in my room

I have nothing whatsoever against the actress, in fact hearing her speak in interviews she seems one of the most level-headed and sensible members of the cast and she does a good job in the role.

But if there was ever a time when I liked the character I've long since forgotten it.

Susan and Karl play a part in being the backbone to the show these days Imo Susan has taken over the ''Ramsey Street Matriarchal'' role Helen Daniels had for the first 13 years and I think Jackie plays the part brilliantly. What I like about Susan is that she is flawed, she gets it wrong, says the wrong thing, can be a bit insensitive sometimes like every human in the real world does - and then she has the pearls of wisdom aspect, all the kids (and some of the adults) feel they can have a mother figure in her...etc
