JosieTash Posted April 30, 2005 Report Share Posted April 30, 2005 alf told tilly & the others about an occasion during Vietnam war when one of the soldiers in his group went missing, and alf & the other soldiers esp. risked their life by straying in viet kong territory (to find their mate). alf also told the teens that even if ppl dueing war know that odds are against them, they'll still stay and fight. alf aslo sais that ANZAC day is about remembering the sacrifices those who died in war made so we can be free - and he hopes that the teens of today NEVER forget what's happened in the past.
