Rach not poor Paulie at all!

YES poor Paulie :(

He's hurting too you no, have all of you forgotten that this started because of the whole adoption thing. Maybe if Jodi had thought about the idea, rather than just firing off and coming to the decision that she hated it, then maybe they would have worked something out together.

And now because of it, Pauls confused about his feelings, and Jodi's in some kind of rehab centre

So yes Becky! Poor Paulie!!!

:D

Your causing a bit of controversy with this fic Kyle, im loving it :P

Go team Paulie!!!! Which consists of only me aparently lol

HOWEVER!!!! I do still feel awful for Jodi, because A) she has that condition which means she cant have kids, which still breaks my heart at the thought of it. and B) she is completely oblivious to the fact that Pauls having feelings for Kate!!!

Oh dear, its a no win situation :(

Thanks for the comments. I'm a stirrer! Here's the next part:

Sexual references warning.

Credit goes to Becky for the last part - sort of! LOL!

PART 7

Chris glares at the door angrily.

“I swear he did that on purpose.”

“Chris! It’s not like he knew we were… busy in here. And we should have locked the door.”

“That’s not the point. He’s all smug about ruining the moment.”

Kate grins and slips her hand into Chris’ pants, kissing him in his neck softly.

“Well we could always have that moment again tonight…”

Chris moans, picking her up.

“Or we could have it right now.”

“Are you kidding? With Paul just outside my dressing room door?”

Chris softly puts Kate down on the couch and turns the music on loudly before walking to the door. He opens it to look at Paul.

“Do me a favour, mate, and tell Scott you can’t find her. We’re a little pre-occupied here. Thanks.”

He closes the door, making sure he locks it, before turning to Kate.

“Where were we?”

“And then I caught a big fish and I threw him back into the water!”

Noah motions with his hands and Jodi and Becky both laugh. Jodi picks him up to sit in her lap.

“What happened then?”

“He swam away fast! And I caught two more!”

“Wow! Quite the fisherman aren’t you?”

Noah nods and rests his head against Jodi’s shoulder.

“I’m tired now.”

Jodi laughs, stroking over his head.

“All those fishing wore you out, huh?”

Noah nods against her shoulder.

“Completely.”

Jodi smiles softly, holding the little boy closer.

“Well you can just sleep on my lap if you want.”

He shakes his head and looks at her with serious green eyes.

“No, I can’t because your legs are going to kill you atta end of the day. Will you tuck me in?”

“Of course…”

Jodi stands up while Noah clings to her like a little baboon.

She smiles at Becky.

“I’m going to tuck this one in. I’ll be right back.”

“So… what are our chances?”

Amy looks at the lawyer and he smiles.

“Well, unless she can prove that either of you is not a suited parent, you’ve got this down. Her keeping Ava away from you, Nic, on weekends when you were supposed to see her, counts against her.”

Nic nods, holding onto Amy’s hand.

“We were a bit worried that she might say getting custody is the only reason we’ve got married…”

The lawyer shakes his head.

“She has no way of proving that. You can just say that the reason for keeping it low-key was because of your celebrity status.”

Nic simply nods and Amy looks at him seriously.

“Stop worrying. We’re going to get custody.”

“If we don’t…”

Nic looks at the lawyer seriously.

“Is there any way that she could keep Ava away from me?”

“Unless you’re not the father, or if either of you two is classified unstable by a mental health care professional, no. She can’t.”

Nic closes his eyes, sitting back in the chair.

“Thank you…”

“Will you read me a story? Pretty please?”

Jodi nods and leans over to kiss Noah’s forehead.

“Of course. Where’s a book?”

He points to the shelf where Jodi finds a surprising collection of fairytales.

“Which one do you want to hear?”

“The big friendly giant!”

Jodi nods and takes the book off the shelf.

“Do you like this one?”

Noah nods.

“Sophie is an orphan just like me and one day I’m going to meet a big friendly giant!”

Jodi nods and can’t help smiling.

“You know, I happen to know one.”

“A real giant?”

Noah sits up, his eyes wide.

“What’s his name?”

“Chris. And you know what, he has a girlfriend who is shorter than me!”

“That must look funny.”

“Yeah it does.”

Noah snuggles up against Jodi and plants a kiss on her cheek.

“I love you.”

Jodi’s arms go around him automatically and she smiles.

“I love you too.”

Awww that was a great chapter. Jodi's going to adopt Noah!! Awww how heartbreaking it's going to be when she comes home to find out her oh so un-loving husband fancies someone else. Kyle what have you done!! Although the Kate/Paul thing is kind of interesting....
