Thanks for that. I really think they made a mistake getting rid of her, as she was shaping up to be a great replacement for Pippa. I'm really going to miss her.

Thanks for the link I have been hoping that an interview with Clarissa would surface at some point as I was interested to know why she left. From what she said I got the impression it wasn't exactly her choice to leave. It sounds like they just didn't renew her contract.

I was really sad to see her go and although Beth had done and been through a lot, there are always new directions and storylines that can be written to develop the character. Just look at Alf and Sally!

She was one of those characters who didn't need to be at the centre of the drama, but acted as the backbone of the bay (like Alf, Irene and Colleen). I think she could have gone on for years, if they hadn't been so stupid and let her go.
