I've been working on this today (well, inbetween reading about Big Brother and stuff ;o)) and I reckon I'm about halfway through the next chapter so I'll aim for an update towards the end of the week. My problem is I usually feel like writing late in the evening when I should be sleeping. Also I have several ideas for different stories, so I sort of jump around between them. The newletter's been put on hold for a while because the company is currently moving and has little money, the computer I'm allowed to work on has been taken away to be fixed and (stupid me ) I have no other copy of the stories I'm currently working on. Had a great hol thanks and I’ve got a few new ideas so I’ll get back to this fic asap: SUMMARY: Eight-year-old Sally Keating, who lost her parents in a tragic boating accident, arrives in Summer Bay almost by accident when her older friend Lynn is fostered by Pippa and Tom Fletcher and refuses to be parted from her. But Sally has a lot of emotional baggage. Mum and Dad, Gran, friends Isabel and Rico, neighbour Mrs Bellamy and her two funny cats...everybody leaves her in the end. To compensate, she has created an imaginary friend, Milko, who can never be taken from her...or can he? When the notorious Phillips brothers Kane and Scott (who have their own dark secrets in their homelife) “kidnap” Milko from the school playground and hold him to ransom, Sally’s problems really begin. Bullied by foster brother Steven, losing out on Lynn’s friendship to foster sister Carly, clinging to superstition and afraid to show emotion, Sally feels all alone in a hostile world. THE STORY SO FAR: As well as Milko, Kane has somehow acquired two new invisible friends - a dragon called Fred and a dog called Deefa. He and Scott have fled from their drink and drug crazed father who’s threatening to kill them and are sleeping rough under a bridge After trashing Sally’s bedroom, Steven realises his bullying has got out of hand and decides to make his peace.
