My favourite stanza was definately the last one with the wind trading sea salt for crying/The sand keeping footprints in grain because it was so descriptive, but also I loved the idea of Summer Bay being a town full of memories and dust and the description of his heart's bitter crust. I could be here all night quoting my favourite bits, but I just wanna make it perfectly clear that I loved this poem and I seriously think you should write more, emmasi. My favourite stanza was the fourth as it really describes Lucas's feelings really well. Hope to see more poems from you.
