Least Favourite Moments: Tara's death and the way Willow got over it quick.

I have to say that special hate goes towards the series final episode. I thing I hate about it is that it ended on a happy note. They killed off Anya and Spike, but none of the others. I was expecting Xander to be killed while protecting one of them.

Yup! Hated the lack-of-reaction from the others about Tara's death. Some of the best and most powerful scenes in a show like this come from the reactions of characters to the death of a loved one (see Willow, Anya and Buffy's reaction to Joyce's death in The Body), so I don't understand why on Buffy (which is SO good in SO many ways), they fail to have the scoobies react when one of their friends dies. Tara got shot, and Dawn and Xander looks a bit sad for about 3 seconds. Anya got sliced in half, and apart from Xander nobody even wondered what became of her.

I hate how Spikes death in the final episode was so "glorified" like he was SO much more important than Anya.

This is totally off topic but I was actually watching Buffy last night, it was the season 6 halloween episode I think, and Anya was reading a magazine and I'm sure it was Glory on the front cover!

I loved Willow & Oz scenes when they were on their own, Oz was really cute and sweet with her. But in the big group scenes he doesn't say much and is kind of boring (great character and actor though). Tara doesn't say much either but her shy/introverted personality is more interesting than "cool detachment guy". And in the group scenes Tara and Willow are always all snuggly.

Tara was a very elusive character, you always got the feeling there was a lot to her we didn't know. They hinted at her being psychic a few times but never really explored it.

Favourite Season: 2

Least Favourite Season: 7

Favourite Character: Spike, Angel/us, Dru

Least Favourite: Kennedy and the Slayerettes (sounds like a try-hard girl band. Not far from it.)

Favourite Moments: Spike complaining about missing Passions, Angelus leading Giles to Jenny's body, Buffy calling Angel a bitch when they were possessed, Willow assuming they were all on drugs when they were happy she wasn't dead, Giles saying that he likes mushy peas, him and Anya making out in Tabula Rasa, Randy & Joan, etc :D

Least Favourite Moments: Pretty much all of season 7, excluding Andrew. I kind of knew it was all over as soon as I saw that demon thing that forced Willow to exist in a parallel dimension to all of her friends - whatever that was. It was hideous, and not in a cool awe-inspiring way. It was like if that frog on the Harry Potter episode of The Simpsons (the one that Bart was supposed to turn into a prince, but it got stuck half way and was constantly throwing up and saying "Why was I allowed to live?") had cross-bred with Nosferatu, and then the offspring had taken an interest in cannabalism and paedofelia... That's the vibe I got off that thing. Not in any way pleasant. But for me, the show really went downhill in season 6 when Spike decided he'd try and rape Buffy. It was a good scene, as far as intensity and realism and all that went, don't get me wrong, but it was just so not the show that I'd fallen in love with. It was just... TOO real, I guess. I was never really that interested in having my escapism turned back on me. Likewise, Buffy's constant sexcapades were too graphic for the show I liked. It was like someone had taped over the end of a fantasy movie with hardcore porn and then sent it back to the video show. Very confusing and somewhat inappropriate. Give me the days of allusion and inuendo any day.

Anyway...

To the question of Willow and Oz vs Willow and Tara. I liked Willow and Oz more because I think that Oz was better for her. He was encouraging and gentle like Tara, but he knew who he was and how to help Willow discover who she was and be comfortable with it. I got the feeling that Tara was dependant on Willow doing that for her, and Willow wasn't quite up to the responsibility, which is why it all went to hell. There was too much pressure for them to be THE perfect couple or something, because they were both such nice people and everyone needed them to happy, for the good of everyone... I don't know if that makes sense but oh well :P

I love Buffy, anyway I agree with you, it did annoy me, Giles looked sad and Buffy didn't show much anger, aleast Dawn actually looked angry.

But nobody seems to be sad in the beginning of season 7 (Execpt Willow of course), I mean Dawn Loved Willow and Tara like Joyce so why wasn't she trying anything to bring her back? So yeah, it did annoy me alot about it.

And did the others aside from Andrew and xander actually know Anya was dead at the time? (Maybe at the end they did)

Favourite Season: Season 3, Faith... The Mayor... Anya's first episode.

Least Favourite Season: Season 6, although it did have some good episodes like Once More, With Feeling and Normal Again... I just don't think the season was as good as the others as a whole. I hated the ending of it, it pissed me off so much.

Favourite Character: Anya

Least favourite character: Wesley

Favourite moment: The ending was perfect, I also like the end of Season 5. Faith killing the Mayor's assistant and her downward spiral and turning evil... Buffy Killing Angel and leaving town. Angel coming back from the dead naked.

Least favourite moment: Spike attempting to rape Buffy it wasn't necessary at all. Giles leaving only to come back only to leave only to comeback only to disappear for a few episodes and then comeback only to think he was evil only he really wasn't.

My fav season is two i think b/c of spike and dru, but three also had some fabulous moments. Least fav season was four prob. My fav characters were Spike, Cordelia, early Xander, Angelus and least fav Willow, Dawn, Riley and Faith. I loved Willow and Oz, well mainly Oz, and never really got into Tara, but I also did not like Willow much so wasn't really that fussed about their relationship. I hated how they tried to replace Cordelia with Anya to some extent and over time Xander became an irritating character. My fav moment (to many so it's impossible really) but early Cordy and Xander exchanges, early Spike and his interactions with Joyce, an exchange in Lover's Lane is a classic. Also when Angel turned bad, and when he pretended to turn bad and got the better of Faith along with Buffy. Least fav when Xander used to get on his high horse over Angel to Buffy, Faith used to speak in her try hard urban slang and when Xander and Willow got it on in season two :(

My favourite seasons were 2 and 6. 4 was rubbish I hated the whole Buffy Riley and the Initiative thing. I didn't like Angel as much in Buffy I preferred Spike.

Dawn was such a whinger. My favourite character was Faith and I liked Giles too. My least

favourite character was Kennedy (she loved herself too much).

My favourite Buffy moment was the synchronised slaying between Faith and Buffy and in Season 7 where Spike has just seen Buffy with Angel and he's punching a punchbag with a very badly drawn picture of Angel on it.

The relationship between Joyce and Spike was just classic!
