Chapter 3 This starts badly and is quite boring but it gets better (I hope)

Not long after arriving in LA Tash and Kim found themselves wandering the streets looking for 'Star Model Management', a modeling firm that Martha had moved to LA to work at. They had talked so much since they left Robbie, they felt as if they had reconnected. So they decided to go out for a drink but they night ended badly, they kissed and then Tasha confessed her marriage problems. They decided never to tell Robbie and just to forget about it but Tasha couldn't, how could something so wrong feel so right?

Kim remembered how cut up Jack had been when Martha moved, so much so that he had chased her half way around the world before she finally agreed to take him back. That was the last they had heard of Martha, her phone line was disconnected and her mobile 'couldn't be reached'. By that stage her family and friends were beginning to fret. They tried Jack but his phone was always off. Tony and Lucas were about to head over to LA when Alf died so Tony had to look after the bar.

After asking what seemed like hundreds of people Kim and Tasha finally arrived at the agency. They were as bewildered as everyone else as to where Martha was but they give them her address. When they arrived at Martha and Jack's they place looked empty. The door was open so Kim went in. There was a musky smell in the air. All the curtains were pulled and the whole flat was very dirty. He heard something move, he switched on the light to find Jack sitting in the corner with a bottle in his hand.

"I have done something terrible" he said and then he smiled, not a ha-ha smile but a sly smile, his eyes diverted to a long bag in the corner, like a body.........
