sooty Posted March 11, 2007 Report Share Posted March 11, 2007 I am so saddened by this news - I lost someone I loved to cancer when I was about Jodi's age so I know exactly what she must be going through right now. I really admire how brave she has been the past few months - I know from personal experience how emotionally draining it is to go through regular hospital visits and watch someone you care about struggle through a painful illness, yet she has seemed to be so positive and courageous. The fact that she has been given so many depressing storylines over the past few months that have required her character to be miserable and tearful so much of the time can't have been easy either. I really hope that the producers of the show give her all time off she needs to grieve in peace and that she will return only when she is ready.
