Btw, yes there is gonna be a second season/series, after the finales ending credits some C4 narrator said that a 2 season is coming. Not sure when the filming starts tho. I'm really enjoying it ... the second episode was last Monday, and I found it both hysterical and really heart breaking. Its so incredibly different to any American teen soap and that makes it beyond amazing to watch!! Cassie is my absolute favourite character - she's the only character I know who can pull off being completely crazy at the beginning of the episode then become the voice of reason by the end! I have, and we've not even finished the first series yet But the second series looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome. Skins is the only show I genuinely can't miss. Totally Maxxie-centric, he's sort of become the lead character or at least much more prominent. His family were hilarious, and so were Tony's, I love Harry Enfield and Bill Bailey. I felt so bad for Tony, he's become completely isolated and vulnerable, Maxxie clearly loves him I hope they get together and Maxxie dumps that Dale guy he's such a chav. I've never liked Sid much, and he was as rubbish as usual. All-in-all it was great Maxxie and Tony were two of my faves so I loved seeing lots of them, but Cassie was criminally underused -she's way more interesting than Michelle or Jal. And what was up with Chris? He was disturbingly calm. I wanna see him off his face and taking viagra again. I hope he restarts his relationship with the teacher, I loved them together. As they had so much many stories wrapped into one big one, like it being Anwar's birthday party but it wasn't all about Anwar it was about the other storylines aswell. And i think, they did seem to focus too much on one/two characters in this new one. Don't get me wrong, it was still really good but like they could have showed a bit more of Sid, Chris, Cassie etc. It felt like Maxxie had 40 minutes airtime and all the others have 20 minutes divided up between them. They only showed Cassie for like 2 minutes, Sid for about the same, Anwar the same etc. But i guess Maxxie on his own didn't get much airtime really out of the first 9 episodes so they are making up for it in the second season. I think the reason Chris seemed more calm, was so that you could recognise how bad of an effect the accident had on Tony. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You're right about Maxxie getting more screen time now because he wasn't shown much last season, I don't think he even had his own episode like everyone else did last year. I can't wait to see who is stalking him next week. It was so freaky when they showed the wall covered in photos of Maxxie, clearly somebody is obsessed. They better bring Cassie back from Elgin next week, seeing her doing the Highland fling just wasn't enough. I don't think she even said her catchphrase - "oh wow!"
