Indiana says:

How has life changed for you since you started working on Home and Away?

Yes it has! I have learned a lot working with a large group of new and inspiring people, both on set and behind the scenes. I have evolved as an actress and grown up a lot personally.

What's been your favourite storyline so far?

The storyline I really enjoyed filming was when Matilda battled with an eating disorder.

What was it like doing that eating disorder storyline? Was it difficult?

It was challenging, I enjoyed researching and then applying myself to make it convincing to the audience.

What kind of hours do you have to work at Home and Away?

I work on the show five days a week. The hours vary but roughly 40-50 hours a week. I also need to be available for interviews, photo shoots and appearances.

Is there much hanging around waiting? What do you do in that time?

There can be a lot of hanging around. When there is I'll usually read, learn scripts or chat to cast mates.

How long do you get to memorise your lines?

We receive episodes four weeks prior to filming. When I receive these I'll read through to see the involvement of my character and start preparing. Learning actual dialogue is usually the night before filming the scenes.

Do you get on well with the cast?

Yes I do. Even though a lot of them are older than me, I get along well with them.

Do you ever hang out with cast members when you're not working?

We all attend events together, which is great because we get to catch up and socialise outside of work.

What are you going to do for Valentine's Day?

I am not really one for Valentine's Day. I'm not a scrooge, I just think the whole concept of buying gifts on one day for people you love is a bit silly.

What's the best part about doing your job?

That it doesn't feel like a job because I enjoy going to work everyday and I'm doing what I love and am passionate about.

And the worst?

Well...the early mornings!

Have you had any embarrassing moments on the show?

Probably quite a few- I guess forgetting lines!

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

George W Bush.

What do you have as your phone's ring tone?

A cat's meow.

What's your fave thing to do in your spare time?

Shopping with friends!

Who are your closest friends?

I have a circle of close friends that consist of old school friends, work and family friends.

Do you still watch the show on TV? Is it weird watching yourself?

I find it really hard to watch myself on screen, I usually end up hiding in the corner.

Do you have message for your fans in New Zealand?

Keep watching, and thank you for all your support xxx

Mark says:

How has life changed for you since you started working on Home and Away?

Complete and utter turnaround!

What's been your favourite storyline so far?

Probably the apprentice mechanic bullying scenes.

What kind of hours do you have to work at Home and Away?

Sometimes only two hours per day or sometimes up to 15 hours.

Is there much hanging around waiting? What do you do in that time?

Yes, I sleep or listen to music.

How long do you get to memorise your lines?

We get the scripts two weeks before and I memorise the night before shooting.

Do you ever hang out with cast members when you're not working?

Yes all the time. I live with Jon Sivewright [Tony] and I spend a lot of time with Chris Hemsworth [Kim] and Cornelia Frances [Morag]. But we are all mates.

How do you deal with having to kiss your cast mates, like Indiana, on screen?

I deal with it professionally and with utmost buisness-like fashion!

What are you doing to do for Valentine's Day?

Probably get in trouble for forgetting.

What's the best part about doing your job?

The lack consistency and working on the beach.

And the worst?

Lack consistency and working on the beach in Winter.

Have you had any embarrassing moments on the show?

No, I've never made a mistake but I did make the cast autograph Jodi's bra when she left it on the table.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

No tolls, and vegetables tasted good.

What do you have as your phone's ring tone?

It's a song by The Haunted.

What's your fave thing to do in your spare time?

Play music or Skateboard.

Who are your closest friends?

Jon and band members.

Do you have message for your fans in New Zealand?

Eat your peas!
