It takes place mostly at the sea-side diner...while it is snowing badly. Will all our favourite characters get out? Which two will not make it through the cold?

rebeccaismename Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 18 Year old Ric Dalby walks slowly and carefully along the footpath in the small town of Summer Bay. He looks up ahead to he sees his girlfriend Matilda Hunter standing on the path ahead of him with her hands on her hips. "Hurry up slow-poke"She teased me "Hey! I'll show you slow-poke"I laughed, running full force towords her. She was about to tun and run when I reached her. I tickled her until she begged for Mercy! "Stop Ric please"She said tears streaming down her face, from laughing too much. "Why?"I asked innocently "Look, what is it" She pointed to something behind me I turned around and put my hand out to catch the thing which was falling from the sky "It's a snowflake?"I said amazed, it had never snowed in Summer Bay while he was there. Me and Matilda just stood there looking up at the sky, as lots of big and small snowflakes were falling from the sky above us. "Wow isn't it magical Ric?" Matilda asked me "Yeah it is"I answered back. She looked straight at me, I know what she was thnking She was about to engage me in a long kiss when she started shivering. "Ric it's getting cold, can we go now?"She asked I was dissapointed that I didn't get a kiss. "O.K, how about the diner?"I asked her "O.K sure we can get some hot chocolates, then we can go back to my place" She said with a smug grin on her face. "O.K beautiful"I replied Holding her while walking down the road into the beachside diner Little did they know that the diner will hold them till the end

"Ric we have to tell people, it's not safe"Matilda said worried "Don't worry Matilda it'll melt, trust me"I reasurred her "How can I trust you?"She play punched me in the arm. "Fine, tell everyone if you want, but they won't fuss over it"I said starting to tickle her again. Half way through the giggling fit Matilda was having Irene interrupted. "Hey settle down kids, what can I do for you"She asked us. "Well will have 2 Hot Chocolates thanks Irene"I said as Matilda was still struggling to get away from my grip. I let Matilda go, and she ran to the other side of the diner to sit down. Maybe she was getting away from me? I held the hot chocolates as I walked to where Matilda was sitting. "Here you go Mattie"I said gleefully "Why are you so happy Ric?"She said grabbing the hot chocolate out of my hands. "Oh nothing"I replied with the biggest grin you could possibly imagine on my face. We talked while drinking our hot chocolates. Matilda kept talking about school and how much she loved me. I kept talking about how much I loved her and how much I am going to tickle her tonight as revenge. "Revenge for what Ric?"She asked knowing fully well what she had done the night before. "You know very well what you did last night Matilda Hunter, Taking photos of me while I was asleep and posting them all around the net."I replied remembering waking up, turning on my computer and seeing me asleep in my bed on my desktop. "Oh how do you know that was me Mr Dalby?"She said trying to get away from my grip "Who else would it have been?"I asked with a grin on my face. "Ummm...Belle?"She said "Nope she was over at Lucas's last night remember"I said "Fine I give in, it was me!"She exclaimed "How did I guess?"I said We finished our hot chocolates just then so we got up and walked over to Irene "Hey Irene, did you know it is snowing outside"Matilda said to Irene after we had finished our hot chocolates. "Really?"Said Irene as she looked out the window "WOW!!!"She said "It's really piling up out there"Matilda stared out into the cold, grass which is now bright white in colour.
shortie_689 Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 YAY!!! YAY!!! YAY!!! Another Mattie and Ric fic, not to mention paired with Snow. The beach and the snow, I can imagine nothing more romantic, I hope it doesn't all end in tears I just love Ric and Mattie sooo much!!! Keep up the great work.
