Andy Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Whispers Sunday Herald Sun 17 December 2006 THE rumours about Kate Ritchie leaving Home and Away seem to be nothing more than an elaborate publicity stunt. Ritchie recently filmed episodes that will be screened next year and has said nothing to cast and crew about an imminent departure from the show. Speculation surrounding Ritchie's exit from the show has snowballed since Seven aired the cliffhanger season finale. In its closing scenes, Ritchie's character lay slumped on the ground after being stabbed. However, her character, Sally Fletcher, has a number of storylines written for next year.
The Cure Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 THE rumours about Kate Ritchie leaving Home and Away seem to be nothing more than an elaborate publicity stunt. Gosh, what a shocker! Never saw that one coming!
freakybuffy Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 ^^ haha i know what you mean, but i hope this is right. coz it wouldn't be the same without her
~Lynd~ Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Really?I'm shocked....NOT! Thanks for that Valk!
bay girl Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 In Tv Week today it kinda suggested that she was leaving, and they asked other cast members their feelings about her departure. Gah, who knows what to believe anymore.
ter06 Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Just as I had convinced myself Sally was sticking around, the new TV Week has kinda left me puzzled!!
Drew Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Well that article Andy posted came out yesterday, which would mean it was written within the last 2-3 days. TV Week's information is on the past week... I don't know if that made sense ... Anyway, for all we know, TV Week could be in on this publicity stunt, or they're releasing information so people would buy the magazines... Which actually works
ter06 Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 If this is all a big publicity stunt, you've got to admit they've really pulled it off!!
Drew Posted December 18, 2006 Report Posted December 18, 2006 Not really. They wouldn't pull it off until H&A premiers in 2007. If the truth has come out that it was a publicity stunt, it only lasted two weeks.
