Not being a Jack/Martha fan (probably not a good thread to admit that in ) I actually found the chemistry between the characters in this really believable. There was some great writing but I'm in danger of going into review mode and I've already reviewed...Really great story though, you're a great writer and I was very impressed with your first attempt at a competition entry. I think the chemistry between Jack and Martha is what you do best Like that bit where he was pushing her into the bedroom after complaining about being late. I loved that, it put a huge smile in my face and made me giggle (and I never giggle!) Because I'm a really, really sad romantic And there is nothing wrong with pure fluff, lol. It would have been totally FINE without the killer ending, lol. But it was brill and unexpected so it was a good technique. But you still killed Jack! *laughs quietly* At least he had his shirt off when he died. For your first, or just in general that was fantastic. You use great emotive language and your writing style is nice. Plus the fact that you wrote about J&M has nothing to do with it . . .*whistles innocently* You should write more. You have talent!
