I could actually see her developing feelings for him if they were the ones stranded. She was a 15 year old girl who needed the help of Kane to survive...I could see that. What I could never see is Jade defying both her parents and her sister to pursue those feelings, hurting everyone she loves. Duncan/Kirsty would have been perfect, they're both uber brats.
