C & R are still living with Sally becuase Cassie is going to uni, and Ric is getting money toghether. Sally said they could stay for however long they wanted, and that forever would be fine with her, as she can't imagine life without her 3 kids togther. Sally is 31, and Peter 36. --------------------------------------------------- Peter and Sally were sitting ont he couch when Ric and Cassie walked in, with Cassie holding Pippa's hand. "Detective Baker", Ric said. "What are you doing here?" Peter exchanged a glance with Sally. "What's wrong? What happened?", Cassie panicked. "Nothing's wrong Cass", Sally answered calmly. "Yeah, I'm not on duty. I'm here on a social visit", Pater stated. "We actually wanted to talk to you three", Sally told them. Pippa, who hadn't seen her mum for 4 hours, ran and lept into Sally's lap. "Ouch!", Sally said with a laugh to Pippa, who had landed on her with a thud. "Why don't you guys have a seat?", Peter suggested to Ric and Cassie. "Ric, Cassie, Pip....", Sally began. "How would you feel if I started dating again? Now, I want you to tell the truth, okay?" "Ummmm...Wow", Ric trailed off. "As long as you would be happy Sal, then I'm fine with it", Cassie finished. "Yeah, what she said", Ric stated. "Is this where you come in, Detective?", Cassie asked. "Yeah, so I guess you';d better start calling me Pete!" For the first time, Pippa spoke up. "Does this mean that you'll be my daddy?", Pippa asked Peter. Peter and Sally exchanged a glance. "That means, sweetie, that Pete will be a very good friend to mummy", Sally explained. "But you can still come to me if you have a problem", Peter finished for her. Pippa crawled off Sally, and clambered over to Peter, and gave him a hug. "So is everyone okay with this?", Peter asked with Pippa still in his arms. "Yeah", Cassie and Ric answered together. "Welcome to the family, Pete", Cassie said wiith a grin. "Yeah, welcome Mate", Ric said. ------------------------------------ As usual, please R&R! No sooner had the words left her mouth, Cassie felt Pippa pulling on her skirt. "Cass, can I come too?", she asked. Cassie laughed. "Of course Pip! "You've done a great job with them". "No I haven't they've just been really easy to get along with", Sally replied with a smile. Peter leaned in for a kiss.
