The annual Theatresports Celebrity Challenge to raise funds for the Starlight Foundation has a bonus for participants this year. Men and women alike will get to dress up in ladies' underwear - in public! - because the theme is 1930s burlesque cabaret. See such comedians as Adam Spencer humiliate themselves alongside Home and Away stars and children's group Hi-5 in the impro feast at the Enmore Theatre on August 12.

Ada Nicodemou and Amy Mathews will be taking part in Celebrity Theatresports.

Once a year the stars come out to play... and this year the theme is

1930s burlesque cabaret! It's the Theatresports Celebrity Challenge

2006: Club Cabaret!!

Can they keep up the pace when the heat is on?

Six teams - made up of special guest celebrities alongside impro-

comedy champions - will battle for laughs and the judges' votes when

this star-studded annual event returns to the Enmore Theatre on Sat

12 August to raise vital funds for the Starlight Children's

Foundation.

STARS already confirmed include Tim Harding from High Five, Monica

Trapaga (kids' TV legend and sultry singer) Home & Away stars Amy

Mathews and Ada Nicodemou, Mike Goldman, host of Big Brother Up Late

Aboriginal writer and activist, Dr Anita Heiss! They'll join such

Theatresports® is Sydney's longest-running comedy hit and features a

series of spontaneously created theatre sketches based on surprise

suggestions from the audience. Teams of four are challenged to play

out a scene, sing a made up song, create a poem etc before celebrity

judges and hyped up audience of more than 1500 comedy fans. The

result is a night of fun & laughs.

With improvised games and sketches similar to 'Whose Line Is It

Anyway' and featuring stars of Channel 10's hit show 'Thank God

You're Here', it's a rollercoaster ride of spontaneous fun.

This year's compere is the incomparable Nigel Sutton with his saucy

sidekick Amanda Buckley. The teams will face challenges from other

celebrities as well as traditional audience suggestions, testing

their wit and willingness to put everything on the line. It's cut-
