Tammin Sursok gone but not forgotten

Herald Sun

02jun06

SHE may be shacked up in the US, but that doesn't seem to stop Tammin Sursok being the subject of many Aussie men's fantasies.

Sursok, who is trying her luck in Hollywood, was last night named FHM's Sexiest Woman in Australia.

She placed fourth in the mag's 100 Sexiest Women in the World comp behind sex bomb Jessica Alba, Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria and Scarlett Johansson.

Somehow Sursok has stayed in the minds of nearly one-fifth of the men who voted, despite leaving for the US more than four months ago.

She moved to Los Angeles and scored a role in teen comedy flick Aquamarine.

We're told she's still working on her music even though her career with Sony BMG stalled last year.

Jennifer Hawkins, Natalie Bassingthwaite and Isabel Lucas were other local girls who made the top 10.

Simone Warne made a surprise appearance at No. 29, while getting hitched and popping out a baby was disastrous for Bec Hewitt's performance.

She dropped from No. 1 last year to No. 39.
