Love_peter_Baker Posted May 2, 2006 Report Share Posted May 2, 2006 Chapter 9 Martha is looking at to Jack eyes when she hears some one shouting ‘Martha’. Its Lucas and Rachael saying ‘Martha quick run leave Jack now’. All of a sudden Martha wakes up shouting ‘He can’t die’ ‘Babe its ok I’m here your fine and I’m fine I am sure someone will find us soon’ said Jack. (Hospital) ‘Quick we need help’ Dan shouted Carry Irene in with Peter. ‘I’m going Back out to find Claire’ shouted Peter but as he is about to go out the door he is stopped by Leah and dragged back in to the hospital. ‘You are not going anywhere that cut is really bad!’ said Leah. ‘I’m going to find Claire’ said Peter. ‘Owe no your not’ said Leah ‘OK fine I will get checked over but then I’m straight back out there’ peter said. Kim enters with Barry who can not walk. ‘Quick in here’ shouted Dr. Young. Beth and Sally are getting worried because Jack, Martha, Lucas, Rachael and Claire, who are still missing and its getting Dark. Peter, Dan, Kim and Ric go back to the cliff to look for the others. Kim is rushing towards the cliff looking for Rachael saying ‘What if something is wrong with her’ Kim said frantically. Peter and the others got to the bottom of the cliff and were searching for about 3 hours when they found Lucas asleep with exposure on the sand. Ric and Dan take Lucas to the hospital while Kim and Peter keep searching. Rachael is found walking towards Kim in good condition. Kim runs over to hug Rachael. Who is well enough to help them search for Claire, Jack and Martha? Peter, Kim and Rachael keep searching until sunrise. ‘I think we should stop we need a rest’ said Rachael. ‘I’m not stopping now’ shouted Peter angrily at Rachael’s comment. Peter, Rachael and Kim arrive at a deserted tent when they hear a scream. Peter turns round to see Martha crying and shouting ‘Jack’ over and over again. Peter runs over and holds Martha in his arms. ‘He’s gone; he was here a minute ago. Pete find him please’ said Martha. Kim and Rachael think Jack has not been with her at all as there is nothing to suggest he was. ‘Let’s go back up to the hospital to get you checked out’ said Peter. ‘I’m not leaving with out Jack’ shouted Martha. ‘Come on we will come back later and search again you need rest’ said Peter. Peter dragged Martha away and walked back up to his car. Peter kept thinking to himself that Martha did not see Jack at all, she was dreaming because she looks a bit confused. As they go back to Peter’s car there is an envelope with Peters name on it. Peter quickly puts the envelope in his pocket and drives back to the hospital. When they arrive Dr. Green checks Rachael and Martha out. Sally walks in and tells Martha about her grandad. Martha bursts in to tears and holds Sally holds Martha in her arms. Peter walks out to his car and opens the letter. The letter say’s ‘Well two coppers and all I had to do was look on the beach….. good work don’t you think’ Promo What does the Letter mean?
