Thats soaps for you, people get new love interest straight away in soaps etc... Cassie and Ric not long ago did they split and now they dating again. I'm sure when he plays Brad Armstrong (remember Rachel mentioned a while ago she had a brother called Brad who was an assistant principal?) he'll be clean cut and fresh.
