Lets get voting for Kate people, as we are sure to have stiff competiiton from Wood who is sure to get the sympathy vote for Blue Heelers axing!!

Does it annoy anyone else that Home & Away never seems to be worthy of the "Outstanding" awards, voted by the industry, there such snobs!!! End of rant

Bec doesn't deserve an award.

All she cares about is money. She's been off the tv for about 6 months atleast now.

It makes you wonder why she is taking time off to look after her baby. Why isn't she out there cashing in on the opportunities in the industry?

Well said. I'm not a particular fan of Bec's and she does seem to have been off-screen for a *very* long time to still be nominated for the Gold Logie, but choosing to be a stay-at-home mother when her career is peaking shows that she's putting family first, imo.

I hope Kate gets the Gold though. Not only because of her performance over the years, but because this really has been her best ever year. It must be tough playing the same character for so long; sure, she 'knows' Sally well, but keeping it fresh and not becoming complacent must be a challenge. I admire her.

I'd like to see Pippa Black get Best Newcomer. I know she's not a H&A star but she's great. She has this Nicole Kidman quality about her and I think she could go really far.

See I'm cheering for John Wood, just because I was a long time Blue Heelers fan. He deserves it... he has been brilliant on that show for years, particularly the last 3 or 4. Here's hoping he picks up the outstanding silver logie.
