Hum, I've changed one setting that's only been available since the forum upgrade, so hopefully that'll stop the problem. There was a bit of a small coffuffle in the 'random picture thread' the other day about using pictures. Do we have to ask someone to use their pics for an avatar? I just got a bit confused, that's all... I brought that up I don't venture into the Creativity & Multimedia section much, but it does seem like a good idea for either members who upload pictures to state whether or not other members can use those pictures for avatars, or for members wanting to make avatars to ask the person posting pictures for permission. In no way were they HERS,she probably pinched them from the tv week website and posted them,so technically they're TV WEEEK'S she had no right to make the scene she did.Hipercrite[sp].I thought it was generally understood that anything posted in there could be used for avatars and banners. Don't want to share your caps or pictures then don't post them *grr* everytime I have a good cap I don't want to share wiht people. I don't post it untill someone kindly asks me when they see me using it etc. I take pictures/caps every where I see them and I don't want to credit everyone when I make avatats etc just because they want *grr*, I find the whole thing stupid. I AGREE!! When I cap I post the ones I think it will be okay for others to use, but it has happened several times that I have capped a pic I wanted to make sure I was the first one to make an av of, so I didn't post it. What is the point of posting them if people can't use them? I mean, sure it takes time to cap, but it's different from making stuff. Actually it's possible to make a cap yourself, I have experienced capping and then realising other people have made caps EXACTLY like mine before.
