bttb-rox! Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 For once, SAS made the right decision at the right time!!! Or at least I thought so! Ian should have gone and, thankfully, he did. But what an earth was Simon doing in the boardroom?! I'm so pleased he stood up for himself and didn't let himself be bullied by Ian.
Mistified Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 I really like Simon, and I think Alan Sugar does too.
Anaya Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 Ian is the worst project manager in the history of the show IMO! SAS definitely made the right decision. What an idiot he was for lying in the boardroom about Kevin not holding that group pep talk to boost team morale... he clearly did. Also has he forgotten that he is on a tv show and that they have footage of everything including this very incident! Oh and I agree Simon's awesome and definitely didn't deserve to be in the boardroom... Ian was the weak link and I think he needs to add THAT word into his vocabulary from now on as LOSER is the best way to describe himself!
Anaya Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 Mistified said: I can't believe Simon was fired I know! Clare and Alex were so clever, undermining him throughout the task, they just wanted him to mess up so he could be fired! They shafted him, the backstabbers! Atleast SAS and Margaret stuck up for him initially in the boardroom.
ayeshax Posted April 20, 2008 Report Posted April 20, 2008 I had to wait until Saturday to see the repeat because I missed Wednesday's episode and my brother changed the channel towards the end when SAS was saying who was fired I had to cover my face with the pillow not to find out. Even then when the promos came on I couldn't figure out who it was. It's amazing how week to week there's just more speculatar messes. I felt sorry for Simon when Clare and Alex where just ignoring and undermining him and then SAS put Clare in her place but when he said get out I'm sure people were thinking she's fired? But alas she lives another day.
DinerLandlord Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 Simon was totally shafted, but there was something a bit tragic and sweaty about him the whole time anyway. He was too nice, you could tell he wasn't underhanded or devious enough, it's sad really that they only seem to get ahead by turning on eachother.
princess_in_pink Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 Lindi got fired this week. Although I'm not fussed I would have preferred it if Jennifer went, I just don't like her. I loved the awarked silence when she goes "Apparently I'm cold". Priceless! N'aaawww I love Lucinda! She comes across as being a bit naive but nobody could argue with her managerial style. She totally rocked! I think everyone was surprised at how she managed the whole task, in Helena's word "She finally got her finger out of her A***". I dislike Helena but I couldn't help but Chuckle when she said that.
bttb-rox! Posted April 27, 2008 Report Posted April 27, 2008 I'm gutted that Simon went the week before last . He was my fave to win, but he seemed to take it well, so that kind of helped me through my grieving process . I was shocked that Lindi went this week because I was almost convinced that Jennifer would. I just found out a little piece of trivia - Lucinda's real name is Cindy Burger, but she changed her name to Lucinda Ledgerwood because she didn't want to be known as Miss Burger. I can understand why she might have wanted to change her name!
