Maybe it is just me then, but I think he is the macho type but then obviously since you are male, you probably have a better idea than me about it but I do think that he has a macho side to him as well as sensitivity.

I echo that, Dex is clearly worming his way in & I am big Xapril fan and I love Dex but the writers are making me feel annoyed towards Dex. I cant see a happy ending for any of them personally.

That's what I thought about Chris. I wish I'd watched Neighbours now if they are handling 'modern' storylines like people being gay so well. Yes about the other bit too. I think Dex seems to be gay BUT as you say just because he's different doesn't mean he's gay. Good Point Re: Casey, I haven't a clue about him, he's hard to work out. I've rather lost interest in him cos he's just turned into 'Ruby's boyfriend' now, he doesn't have anything else happening. Anyway, I suppose I should write about him on his own thread! Also the quirkiness with Dex always seems to be about him trying to be normal maybe that is a hint that he isnt straight.. but I personally dont want Dex to be gay but as I said before I think the show is pushing Dex on that path.

Chris is a macho character, kind of why I like him and I never expected him to be gay so when he came out, was a massive shock to me but yes Miranda as I said as well, I think personally Casey is gay. Dex is quirky and different (in a good way) & I love the character but just because he is different doesnt mean he is gay if that makes sense to anyone. I dont want the show to make Dex gay but then again I dont want him with April mainly because it makes him look bad because he is mates with Xavier and then starts dating April 5 seconds after she dumps Xavier. If he is gay, then why is the show pushing the Dex/April coupling? I dont know, if it happens, I will reserve judgement till then but at the moment, I would rather Dex be single and who he is instead of putting him in a relationship with either gender.

^Well, Conrad doesnt look that old to me but I think realistically he probably was about 16/17 when he had Nicole.

Dex is clearly gay, I dont know why but I personally dont like the idea of him being gay. To me he doesnt come across like that but if he is, then I will support the show for going down that road if they do.

That is pretty much a good summary of Brax. I haven't watched Home & Away that long and know where near as long as everyone else on this forum, so I don't know much about the character. But from what I seen so far, he engaging in too much criminal activity, but sometimes I think there must be a good Brax somewhere. I think may be he does truly love Charlie but Charlie needs to be careful of Brax's bad side because he can be very manipulative and tries to make a very convincing lair. I agree I think Charlie is setting herself up for a fall and it wont be pretty when it does happen because I cant see her not waking up to how Brax really is. He is manipulative but I do believe that he is actually falling for Charlie.

I too hope it will be good news but I get the sense of bad things to come.. Looking forward to more

I think Marilyn got too attached to the baby and as Nicole was already struggling with the knowledge of being pregnant and jumped at the chance of the baby, she clearly pushed Roo and Angus out of the way when it became clear to her that they had the power to help Nicole make her mind up.

The fact that he works at the shelter does indicate that he has some good aspects to his personality but his criminal side IMO is too dominant for the good aspects to be noticed, Brax is as I have said before a very good liar, he seems to have people wrapped around his little finger but Angelo and Morag seem to be onto him and I so really hope that Brax gets his comeuppance because you cant expect to get away with so much criminal activity forever, there has to come a time when you pay for your actions. Consequences do exist. The only redeeming thing about Brax is the fact that he really wants Casey to do well. I had my doubts before about that but I really do think that he has his best interests at heart.
