Yeah, Corrie wasn't exactly playground/classroom talk. It was EE, H&A and Neighbours. Brian Park put a lit firecracker up the show's Jacksie in 1997. The show for the most part the 90s did seem really outdated compared the others. Yes they were the Eldest but it really showed.

And possible the greatest 3-layered Season finale.

Alf was still the Sherrif of town. Don was largely floating between the gap after Sam left and Seb showed up. He did suffer PTSD after Kane and his mates jumped him for coming to Will's aid.

A Tool has an actual use. This Geezer was a right space case. There was Derek Morris of Neighbours who basically chucked his weight around in 1988 at Lassiter's until Scott gave him what-for and he was basically run out of town but yeah, you never really hear that name in Aus soaps.
