I have always liked Geoff as a charecter but with the recent storylines I am beginning to like him even more. I especially like his friendship with Ruby, they seem to bounce of each other really well. I know that this friendship was thrown together rather quickly but i love the way it is developing. He genuinely seems to care about Ruby and is always checking to see if she is okay. I wouldnt mind a Geoff/Ruby pairing either they seem like a good match.

I have always liked the relationship between the two of them. I like that they talk to each other about private stuff and the fact that they are so close especially given the age difference. Ruby is always supportive of Charlie even if she does not agree with the things she does for example sleeping with Angelo whilst he was with May but she listens to her reasons and supports her. I think that Charlie genuienly cares about Rubys wellbeing and always looks out for her and makes choices which she thinks will be best for Ruby.

I ended up feeling sorry for trey during fridays episode. No wonder he turned out the way he did with a stepdad like John. Im glad kirsty was there to talk him out of it and to eventually comfort him. Even after everything he had done to her family she still helped him out as she recognised he was just a troubled kid. I thought the scene at the police station was a nice touch with the way that they just looked at each other, even if we didnt get to see what happened to him. I hope we see more of trey and what repurcussions his actions have as I dont believe that was the ending of the storyline after all the building up they did, it just seems a little disappointing to end that way.

I really do not want to see Aden and Nicole end up together. In my opinion they have an amazing friendship and i think that may end up being ruined again if they do get together as I could see Aden thinking it was a mistake like the last time and end up hurting her. I am all for her spporting him through the grief though as she has already proven in the past how much of a support she can be and this weeks episodes so far have also proven this. I can also see him pushing everyone away and I believe nicole is the only one that would be able to get through to him. I love this friendship and i even think they are on the borderline of a sibling relationship a very close sibling relationship at that though. I also like that in this friendship their is no judgement and that they are there for each other no matter what. They manage to ger through to one and other and manage to pull each other through the hard times that life throws at them.

Yeh I agree, not only that but there was also the other shooter which made him act in self defence, and that is also why I think his situation is like the one jack was in. Also for all he knew it could have been one of the shots that they fired that killed him. Even when his lawyer made him change his statement he still said he wouldnt fight it. He accepted that he was going to prison for it.

I agree and it has bothered me all along. It left a hole in the storyline I felt that no reference was ever made to Jack's situation in comparison to Angelo's. I would have liked if Tony had tried to reconcile the two situations somehow. Yeh i think it would have been good to have seen Tony make that connection as well especially after the whole trying to kill him thing. It would have also given them the chance to talk about what happened more in depth. I feel it would have wrapped the story up nicely. I never said i thought Angelo did the right thing he just got in over his head and panicked and the longer he lied about it the harder it was. But of course that is my opinion and everyone has different opinions especially when it comes to Angelo

I like the way the writers have have taken the character of Angelo this year so far, especially since they have brought him back. I recently re-watched the episodes where the holden family arrived in summerbay and was surprised to notice that Angelo is in the same situation as what Jack was in back then. Jack shot a teenage girl in self-defence and ended up killing her and he was a cop at the time, what surprises me most is that once the real story got out he was welcomed with open arms but this is not the case for Angelo. He is not so easily forgiven. In the earlier episodes Tony said he was proud of the choice his son made as he wouldnt have wanted the girl to kill jack so I find it abit odd that he wouldnt be more understanding of Angelo and the fact that it was self-defence and that it cant have been easy for him to come back and that he too has to live with what happened as he said he saw Jack go through that everyday and it tore him apart watching him suffer. ramble and rant over now

Only just found this fic, and I have to say it is really good and that I cant believe you dont like it. After watching an old episode of the holdens arriving and the back story of why they came to summerbay the other day it got me thinking about just how much of a similar situation Angelo is in to Jacks and it made me realise that Angelo should be forgiven alot easier than what he has been, but you managed to pick up on this alot earlier to me.

The age thing is confusing me too especially as he said Jack was only a baby when Kate died. I was sure it was Lucas that was the baby cos I remember whent they first came to the bay it was said Lucas was only six months old. Tony cleary said jack would have been 28 and i am sure lucas is around the age of twenty so that just cant add up. If Tony is in his mid forties then that would have only made him sixteen when Jack was born so he couldnt have been teaching either. Come to think of it, the age difference between him and Rachel is alot bigger than I thought it was, I dint realise he was married to someone so close to Jacks age
