I thought it was sad how no one seem bothered that Matt was leaving after being there for almost four years.

She said she would be willing for a guest role but not a regular role since she now lives in Melbourne and her kids are in Melbourne. She never said she dislikes the show but she said it's changed. But she understands that people don't want to watch simple family matters storylines at prime time

Who would have been happy for Nancye Hayes to have taken over as Ailsa from 2001? I would have been, as it felt Nancy was more true to Ailsa then Debra was at playing Pippa. Who agrees? Of course I'd rather Judy had stayed, but I'd rather have recast then lose Ailsa altogether.

After rewatching his exit it reminds me why I like it so much. Kyle's core character was that he was truly a very nice guy and wanted to redeem himself. He felt Isa was a good person deep down but just messed up like he was. He wanted to give her a chance to redeem herself. It just showed Kyle was one of kind and He gave up his freedom as he felt to truly redeem himself he needed to help someone who was just as messed up as he was. What made Kyle want to help Isla more was her having kids and loving her kids. Kyle wanted nothing more than to have kids, that's why he was over protective of Isla . In the special All or Nothing Kyle risked his life big time to save that grand and at the end when the Police said about reducing his jail time and Isa made an appearance it shows that Kyle was going to be out of jail soon. Isla I think look like she was willing to give herself in. I got the impression PTB wanted Kyle out of jail but would be too unrealistic even for Australia soap to let just let Kyle be release on spot and they had to make look foreshadowing that Kyle is going be release either by saving grand or Isa coming forward and they might even try getting special to go longer to show getting Kyle release but they not able to have special go longer . But its realistic Kyle wont return to bay now as all his family and Phoebe gone and his home and business be sold and so therefore Kyle would just stayed living in Sydney with his family and I do think Kyle would had return to bay if he still owned business or if here's family were still there and I think Kyle and Phoebe would had gotton back together if Kyle was not sent to prison and then I could see Kyle and Phoebe leaving bay together in 2017 to move USA.

Does anyone feel they've got a bit tired of Irene's character?. For some reason I just have got tired of how brash and short tempered she can be. I just don't feel like Irene is central part of town any more. In the last two years Irene has run to her daughter or son several times when the going got tough. Maybe Irene heading a similar way to how Pippa was towards the end of living in the Bay.

No matter how many years have gone by, Ailsa will always be the one character I wish was still on the show, and Ailsa would be the only character I'd happily bring back from the dead, even if it was the most far-fetched storyline. I really think that if TPTB hadn't given Judy so many storylines and gave her more time in her dressing room to write her novels, or more time off, then Judy would have stayed longer. Given H&A was her last acting role I think there's a very good chance she'd be still on H&A today.

I just read the eBook last night and I really don't think it's canon, because in the book Brax said Heath and Bianca live close to Palm Cove, and we all know they live in Sydney.

I just rewatched episode and Ricky said there moving to be close to Kyle and Heath and so sounds like they were just moving to city.

I think Kyle was at his best after his brothers left and he was living with Josh and Andy and Ricky and baby Casey. My 8 year old cousin loved his character and we watched an episode today of Kyle being sent to jail. My cousin asked me what they did with Kyle's clothes when he was sent to jail. I thought it was so cute how she thought of such a thing.

I think what they should have done is ether have Ziggy move later to bay to live with her family or just have her wanting to live in Bay. But I know that a lot of 19 year olds are very immature still these days. Sometimes I think you can get even more immature once you leave school as you no longer have the discipline of being at school. Parents seem to stop disciplining kids once they turn 18 and, yes, okay they are adults but in a lot of cases mentally still very immature.

I think too is that Vanessa and Debra play Pippa on how they are as mums in real life because after all Pippa is a simple type of character!.

No and I can't imagine Debra singing at a contest in 1988!. I can imagine Debra's Pippa with Tom and I have actually grow to imagine Vanessa's Pippa with Michael.

Can't say I like Maggie's character as she far too arrogant and full of her self and I just hate how she big notes herself and I really don't think we need her. I mean we've already got 4 ladies over 40 to play mothers. I love how Leah's not taking to her big noting herself.

I also found Debra's Pippa very unlikable during 1991-1992 seasons as I found Pippa very self-righteous and childish during that time. I thought that was a very out of character moment in episodes around 1991. Finlay going camping with a bunch of boys and Pippa telling Finlay you'll only be coming back to get your things. That's something I can never imagine Vanessa's Pippa saying.

It felt like seeing Cheryl Stark in screen with Irene Roberts tonight. I like her and hope she becomes regular.

Has anyone grown a bit tired of Irene's character?. I mean, she has become a bit more likable since she has been back from her break but before that I was really sure Irene was being very selfish and unlikable. The thing that annoyed me most was she wanted custody of Luc and I really don't think she's the right person for custody seeing as Irene is coming up for retirement and would be 84 by the time Luc is 20. The other thing that annoys me is how hypercritical she is by wanting Heath and Bianca to sort things out and then in very next scene wanting Hunter and Olivia to break up. Also the way she looked down on Cheryl Braxton. Irene was even worse than Cheryl once. Irene used to beat up her kids, at least Cheryl never beat up her kids. I don't want Irene to leave the show but its more I don't want Lynne McGranger to leave!.

Bit concerned she could turn into Shelley and Beth and just become a background character. Also: I mean they already have Roo/Leah/Irene/Marilyn as 40+ role and I just think it already defeats Maggie purpose as they could parried father with Roo and Roo could even become principal as she has teacher degree with working at uni. When Gina arrive in 2009 she was welcome because we were desperate for 40+ female character even thought Gina was unlikeable by fans.
