  1. I'm not sure if this is in the right place, but I've recently been reminded of a storyline that happened where a supply teacher came and for whatever reason, the students took a big dislike to him, ending up with them gluing him to his chair. I can't remember all the details, but I do remember feeling really sorry for the teacher, particularly when Don Fisher found him stuck and I'm sure he was in tears. It seemed like they were picking on him when he was just trying to do his job and taking offence to him disciplining them. What was the name of this teacher? What did he do to make them dislike him so much? Did the students end up regretting what they did?

  3. I know that there were scenes where there were a couple of disagreements, but I don't remember them being anything major. If I remember correctly, they were only little things that got dealt with pretty quickly, such as each person in the relationship needing to compromise. I'm sure the vast majority of the time, they were seen to be a happy, stable couple. With Simone, the only reason she came to the Bay was to get close to Brody, who she had seen on Leah's vlogs and fallen in love with. After thinking about it over time, I think Brody without realising it, swapped one addiction for another, particularly after Simone kept paying him compliment after compliment, spending more and more time with him and even putting on his chef outfit. I think his addiction problems meant that because it was very clear that Simone was in love with him, Brody couldn't stop himself, which was why when the truth was out, he seemed to have no problems in almost flaunting his relationship with her and moving her in to the Morgans' house without asking permission from the others. If his relationship with Ziggy was intense, you could say that his relationship with Simone was even more intense. I know that people probably won't agree with me here, but I'd like him to return one day, (although not permanently), having split from Simone, admitting that he was with her because he'd swapped one addiction for another and realised as a result that their relationship wasn't healthy, and has had help with his problems. I think it would help to repair his character somewhat.

  6. To be fair, people couldn't see Brody cheating either. Although I can't see them having Dean cheat on Ziggy because it's clear that they want them to be the show's next supercouple. I still think that Brody and Ziggy were the better, more suited couple that would have probably stayed together for the rest of their lives if they hadn't changed Brody's character. Maybe that's why so many people disliked him doing that, as there were so many comments about how he would never have cheated on her.
  7. I absolutely LOVE these old underscores. The music that gets played nowadays doesn't hold a candle to any of them. These old ones are so much better and effective.
  8. I really dislike Dean and Ziggy as a couple and I much preferred her with Brody, (before they changed his character and had him cheat on her). I recently saw the promo of all the cast singing the theme tune together after a while, and in it, we can see Brody and Ziggy being loved up together, which only confirms my opinion that they were better suited together. They actually felt like a proper couple that were in it for the long haul. For me, Dean and Ziggy don't give me that impression. I don't feel that the two of them would realistically stay together for the long haul and be a happy couple during that time.

  10. I think Josie Russell had a very quick exit. She'd been at the forefront of a lot of storylines during the nine months that she was onscreen, but if I remember correctly, in the space of one episode, she decided to leave Summer Bay and then disappeared after a short scene with Jesse where she confirmed that she was going. She deserved better than that. She was a fantastic character and had so many dimensions to her.

  15. I wonder if the reason why we didn't see the reactions of everyone in Summer Bay and why we didn't have people saying goodbye to her in hospital was because we had had that the previous year with Ailsa's car accident. We saw Alf and Duncan saying goodbye to her before her life support was turned off, which as we know led to her coming round in the nick of time. Maybe the show didn't feel it was worth having everyone do that again soon afterwards, (even though I do think we should have had more than what we got).
